I am with superdog. I hate to see them goes for a boat ride.. but who's gonna use an old DM rusted to sh**?? I prefer to buy it, sell it to export and make a few bucks with it. If I don't, big truck centers will do it. BUT, with the money that I'm doing, I do save other good truck from export. Everyone was trying to save that Mack interplant MH on ebay. no one wanted to pay for it or had the $$. I did. that money was coming from selling a rusted bucket using 1 quart of oil every hour with a camelback so tired the tire would hit the spring on a hard turn! . I called for a R model ex fire truck from Pa listed on truckpaper. sold 15000$ to Nigeria. truck was mint. I don't need it, but I was gonna buy it just to save it. I keep the right truck/parts in America, and ship the tired one.. the metal price went so high that the scrappers started to buy everything and crush it. sorry, I prefer an old Mack working in Africa then an old Mack turned into a Toyota.

both are Alex, the most 'pimped' is my brother toys. the red one is the first truck that we bought. it have been in several 'trader' magazine from ontario. you might remember it.

keep them stock, in general BMT member don't really like something out of the ordinary.. spoke wheels and single stacks with oem stuff are normally up for best of show

250 have air to air on front. 237 don't. it's a 237.. also 250 don't have this type of manifold. I don't remember any piping like that near the thermostat.. might just be 'older version'

and after all that hard work, the 1979 R model Mack would sell for 10K$+ !! that makes almost 35K$ for 33 years of service, i'm over with the maths but it was a good deal you had!
