  1. I don't know about the factory recall, but if you have stange noise from acc. drive don't drive the truck anymore before you fix it. look for crack on it or bearing problem inside. it drive lots of thing and lots of weight on this parts. when it break you'll need another air compresor, maybe a fuel pump, power sterring pump and accesory drive also! could cost $$$
  2. you can put a box in it. I bought a few from illinois dyno center. buy it from a different place their service is under 0 out of ten. I've seen one for sale on this site maybe 1-2 weeks ago.
  3. any news on what's happening with the truck??
  4. Ernie, look in older bulldog magazine. one company from Montreal Qc named Nadon brique et pierre (brick and stone) had a daycab f model with 12v?? in it. I'm sure it's the only daycab f model with 12V detroit ever built. company no longer exist and I've seen they're DMM and Dm on the road but not this one. picture in the magazine was taken from right corner the truck was in their yard. can't remember the years..
  5. maybe we can help but you gotta let us know the color that will fit the best with your tan! stayin respectfull if you want us to help you we need to know what size you need. without chassis number it's hard to find the good parts number!
  6. interested in a running 325? don't know the year and if there's a difference with a 375 except pump and minor stuff. I'm In Qc Canada
  7. would be awesome with Dreadnaught from Deathrace.. it's a 1974 Peterbilt but still nice piece of art! they did not scrap the truck in the movie. it's now part of my collection. the only non-Mack that I'll keep.
  8. i've one in a F model that did the same thing.. no answer for you I did not investigate what happens.. common problem?
  9. someone added a Mack Marine engine. he told me it was from the 60's but nut 100% sure. it was in a Alcan boat back in the days. Alcan is a big company that fabricate aluminium product. if anyone have interest let me know I'll give you his number. it's located in Quebec Canada, far from 80% of you from the state but can help you get it.
  10. totally right, same things happens to me about a month ago.
  11. would be good to take compression before removing head. if a cylinder or valve seat is bad you'll know it before!
  12. I was right, it's a small granite and yes it's with a cummins
  13. post pictures of the truck!!
  14. i bet a six pack that it's a 'smaller' version of the Granite

  16. this guy is now looking for a new job.. video show you how good he his and how he want to impress his boss with his skill. Mack Driver does a better job final pulls at night with 74500 pouds of deadweight
  17. Hi, anyone knows if any truck from white line fever are still alive? I know replica of the Blue Mule have been made but i'm looking to find an original one from the movie..
  18. such a dishonor!
  19. check where the leak is, a good welding shop can fix it for less then 50$ if it's only a small crack or a rock dent and you won't pay 1000$ for a new one in two month.. welding a tank is easy, removing a few row in the rad is not impossible also. when you loose boost pressure you loose power, same fuel for less power is not what you're looking for i'm sure! the guy at the shop don't look too serious. would you go back at the shop every month to see if it get worse? you'll notice it when boost pressure on your gauge will lower a lot. all this time your turbo will be spining hard for nothing. my 2 cents! truck is in the shop, don't take it back inside, get it on a job site!
  20. 9K is not big amount for a super-liner like that. depends on how far truck is and if you need transport to bring it back..
  21. Hi, I'm familiar with diesel engine, but old Mack with a gaz job with dual spark plug is new to me.. are they mounted dual just in case one system fail or they have pre-combustion chamber? any idea where I can find a schematic of how it works? i know how coil and distributor works, but this setup might have little difference.. anyone have a spare distributor for sale? missing rotor parts in mine..
  22. this one is in need of a new owner! give me a call (450)803-7211 Jeff E9-500 12 speeds!
  23. double check also, when you compare 4V r model and 4 valve rw model manifold are not the same , Turbo sit over it not on the side and the air intake is different also.
  24. will fit easily, but is the 'new' engine wih an air to air or a tip turbine? take a closer look at the front cover, I don't know why but they have 2 different type of engine mount and front cover is different. one is bolted right on the front cover and the other it's like 90% of the Mack E6, with a rubber bushing right behind the damper. if it's different you have to swap front crossmember.. if my explanation is not clear let me know i'll forward pictures!
  25. are they easy to fit? question that kill, how much it cost? what about the sound?
