  1. 2 bad your long way from us, i'll let you and your Mack carry our sand and stone... you've got a nice looking mack.
  2. don't see anything to unplug. but plug back your brain! old mack are lot better then electronic! don't change your superliner for a vision... well i must admit it's still a mack but you know... nothing beat a nice rod!
  3. can have some of these with 350. a turn-up 350 is better then a 400 cummins
  4. nice toys, yeap sometimes putting something back in one piece is nice
  5. this truck is from qubec in canada. haven't seen it close but it's a shop that repair Mack and volvo... nothing made officialy by Mack. Thanks god
  6. well it depends on what you want to do, if you only want to see black smoke or what... if your truck smoke black now, it's because you need more air you got plenty of fuel. by adding more fuel i don't think you'll burn piston, you gotta do something with the timing to make shit like that. to much black smoke will get the attention of your friends... first of all, what you mean by low power?? truck don't pull at all, your 350 don't go in front of the C16??
  7. yeap it's true Barry
  8. From the album: Mack family

my brother, me and a friend with a Ltl9000 back from a truck pull
  9. well, he does not drive a school bus, seriously anybody will let their kids have a ride in that bus? he does not drive a volvo garbage truck, no volvo will resist that fella he does not drive a Peterbilt, these trucks are made only for no taste people who want to do like everybody else... he does not drive an army truck, the only good thing in army is the beer... yeapp... that fella (my brother) ride a nice Mack R model. he rebuilt that 1989 R, 350 12 speeds 44 on the rears sitting on a Neway airide. straight pipe, custom airbrush paint and interior. this Mack kick ass. Petrjunk don't have any class against that Mack.
  10. here is the game. can anybody tell me what kind of truck this fellas drive? 1)a teenage school bus with a DT-466 2)a white/volvo garbage truck 3)a 379X peterbilt 4)an army 6x6 Kenworth 5) the Mack of your dream a picture of the truck will be sent sometimes during the week! please make a vote
  11. there is not only that valve that exhaust your system. it exhaust from the foot valve too, and don't know on Bmodel but on R model there is also one right behind the cab...
  12. so humid here that the fuel tank, frame on the truck are wet... in the garage. so hot, so humi with no wind....
  13. I'm 20 and i'm driving Mack since i got my liscence. also went to a diesel mecanic school before. so i do both now for the concrete business of my father. lots of hours, lots of works but can't imagine doing something else. the dog bite me! a Mack never die, he find a new owner before so you'll always have Mack to repair
  14. sure of my statement for an E-6, so must be the same thing for an E9. the puff limiter receive 100 psi of air when you remove parking brake (this is why it's written park brake must be applied before starting on your sunvisor) the puff limiter must be fixed onto your intake. there is a line that goes in the front of the fuel pump with a little cylinder. this cylinder control your rack. when it recevie 100 psi from your brake, there with the help of the puff limiter maybe 28-32 psi of pressure reusse to push in the cylinder to put your rack at the minimum. when your truck pulls, boost goes up so it reduce the pressure from the brake line to rou cylinder, like if you have 10 psi of bost, maybe 18-22 psi reach the cylinder allowing your rack to give more fuel... at 28-psi of boost, nada reach the cylinder... we had lot's of problem with these puff limiter and now all the ambac and remack loose some air cause they told us that if they don't they breack.... to me it soud stupid but it's the answer from mack. if you notice it leack only when you remove parking brake right? maybe i'm wrong because this system is on an E6..
  15. Trent, I'm driving a DMM mixer truck. 285 and a 5 speed. fully loaded on big hill never reach more then 950. at full speed ( 60mph@2125 rpm) on flat road it's something near 600. not sure at 100% of this one but I'll take a look for you. somebody already told me that you should not cut these wire. their lenght sould not be changed... I'm sure it's because the probe make it's own current so if you change the lenght you change the restristion of it... I know that the pump on my truck is turned up a bit, and I added some shims on the puff limiter cylinder.. black smoke is great!! bulls make dust with their paws, bulldog do black smoke by the exhaust!
  16. they sent me a bulldog magazine and tol me that I was able to order materials from them. thanks for your help and the oposite is also true, if you need something from here just let me know!
  17. tanks gearhead... i'll go to sleep brighter 2day!
  18. your Mack kick ass men! not yet rebuilt and shure everybody will take a look at it on the road... any way, who don't like the sound of a straight V8?
  19. cruise-liner got one size, F got the 'normal' sleeper that I don't know the lenght, but they're is an extension that you can add at the back to gain maybe 12 ''
  20. well old 237 doesn't leak that much. nice engine good for years of abuse.. lots of them have been sitting in the yard for so long and somebody else take it home and work with it without any problem... if it was mine i would not change anything if anything seems wrong... if you're doing a frame off on your b-61 it's another thing..
  21. superdog hit again, he already start the CH to make sure he'll be ready to pick that one too! any other pic of the front susp/steering? is that an original setup?
