Steering shaft has a u joint. Have to raise front end off ground Turn shaft to grease Look at ALL moving parts of steering system. Upper and lower king pins, Brake cam shaft and slack adjuster Clutch swing arms (tough to see if dirty) Throw out bearing ALL u joints. Some may have two grease fittings for ease of service. Slip yoke Rear brakes-cam shfts and slack adjusters. Shake u-joints while there to see if loose/worn Best if you can pressure wash before greasing so you can find easier. Figure at least 1 hour and a tube + of grease Some fittings may face downward, some rearward. Bring a rag or 4 to clean. Grease until fresh grease comes out -

The '72 CF we had had a switch next to drivers seat. Turn to A, B, or both, or off The Cf is a very good engine/pump combo. Just getting used to sitting ahead of steers can be fun. Not a cab-over where the wheels is under you. Pump size, tank size? Oh yeah, PICS,PICS, PICS. we like pics of MACK trucks almost as much as nekkid wimmins

That should have self adjusting brakes. However, you may want to examine the slack adjuster carefully for broken parts. I had a brake that would fall out of adj. every day. There is a metal strap (don't know part name) that holds adj. Replaced that part and all is well. It's only two or three bolts that hold it. EZPZ
