  2. i hate when that happens
  3. Now that you mention it, I remember seeing that. They had a unique truck, conveyor to the front under the cab. Used for asphalt on sidewalk jobs, i think. Had a small chute.
  4. Pics of truck please. Pics of you also. We give lots of info to the wimmins. They may not like it, but thats what we are here for
  5. Good save! Too bad for the others. Don't need any parts like that, however, I commend you for thinking of your fellow aholics and their needs

  9. Congrats on the new addition. looks good. Must run quite well with a bigger motor. Oh the joy of driving it, then fixing it. $$$$$
  10. yep. 1st pic, that should be all the way back, under the u-bolt piece. Think its called a Z bar or something like that

  12. when ya gots one of dese in the back yard, its never too hot
  13. Noticed that I was slightly spinning the D side when making a left turn. Had a little weight on board, maybe not centered. Was happening even empty. Appered the body was leaning some. Watch air pressure on turns and bumps, maybe a broken air spring. Got to a place to pull off and walk around. look what I found Mack is closed at the time, soooooo, I'm down for tomorrow. DAMN
  14. Congrats on the purchase. Glad you have work for it We need pics. .
  15. Randy-I would change the air filter. All that soot got run into it from inside. hopefully it all passes thru the engine without a problem
  16. BTW-corn binder parts DO NOT belong on a That could be the problem anyway
  17. Not that difficult to do with the older ones. Lug it down too deep, and it hiccups and then runs backward. Back in the day, when I lived in CT, Carrer FD borrowed a Volunteer companies truck. '72 CF 600. The "professional" operator got it running backward. Said it was whistling like craxy pulling air in the exhaust. the engine enclosure was quite a mess with everything getting dumped in there. They called a tow truck, not knowing what actually happened. Then called the head officer for the fire company. He called his company mechanic down there, they fired it uo, drove it away. Did disconnect the hoses first. Not a dig to those on the job here
  18. Thats what rob was saying. The old cap had a vent built in, the new one seals the tank. If you run a while, then stop and open the driver side tank, you will prolly hear air surge in. Kinda like a 5 gal bucket that you tip too far and the stuff inside will chug. BTW- corn binder parts DO NOT belong on a . That could be the problem anyway
  19. eh? a great place to talk shop/shit about and other brands. Just don't mention Vulva's unless you actually mean the female body part.
  20. You spend too much time on the computer, and you WILL be
  21. a hunertn fifty bucks-for that-PT Barnum said it best-there's a sucker born every minute
  22. How were things in Brewster? Grew up just over the line in CT. Thats quite a price for the truck. Looks good and all that, but, like you said, What was done mechanically? Did they drive/operate it?
