  1. Sorry for bringing this back, My 2001 E7-427 is now "making" oil. Power steering level is now going lower. Any connection such as seal/ gasket. Or looking to replace O-rings. Can this be done by shade tree mechanics (me), or have a real mechanic? Thanks, Ed

  3. What model? CX? CH? CXN? jpchrome.com
  4. Some thing that size making it from on top to the bottom, you would know before this. To make it through the head, cylinder, PAST the piston. I think it was somehow dropped in there, and no part of motor. Just my .02
  5. You should have a heck of a parts bin by now. sorry to hear, hope it really is not a "lost "part, just spare On the upside, the magnet works
  6. Unit looks pretty good and it runs, Not bad. and good luck at the track
  7. I passed this info to IL. DEP. They will be sending an investigator to insure PROPER clean-up. Actually, them buckets are pretty good. But paint buckets leave a nice trail along the road on bumps and fast turns

  22. Clean out around the bottom of the pedal real good. First thing to try. The sensor down there may have some grit and stuff gumming up the works. OR, replace the sensor BTW-welcome
  23. too much planning involved. cutting the grass is a pain in the ass to begin with. 1) where is an outlet? 2) which cord is long enough? 3) where to start? 4) anything in the way? 5) do i have enough 'lectric tape? Mexicans do it cheaper
  24. Monday is now a working day. took care of it today, actually my son did. Wasn't that big a deal. Make sure it was clean and generous amount of silicone. will find out how it holds at the end of the day. BTW- the o-ring was split. much easier to fit in there on the workbench. again, thanks, Ed
  25. Thanks fjh for getting back so quick. i was hoping a light bead would do, but still have to dis-assemble to clean. O-ring was cheap and I do have a second on hand. Its just a PIA to take off oil fill and all for that but I guess thats a monday project.
