air compressor and water pump question

Have you done any service on the air dryer lately? Have that checked first. The air comp. is a PIA to change. Can't remember the price of a water pump, maybe $400, you will probably need to have the pulley pressed off and on-$25 at the machine shop next to me. Its all the other "stuff" to get the water pump replaced. Change belt since you are there -

One thing I know has you concerned is the extra lean with the air ride. My first days had me thinking I'm gonna roll this. also, when dumping you have to be on nice level ground. If there is a special reason (engine, trans., rust) that you have to shut the R down, then do what you have to do. BUT, if no other reason than a newer truck, stay old school
