  16. And people say that Southerners are rednecks Looks more like a shotgun wedding
  17. The 5thwheel should have a ramp . You want to at least be just above the ramp low point. As you back in, the ramp will lift trailer, fifth wheel will flatten and continue until you hit, You will know when you get there Back up to your trailer, real close. Get out and take a look to be sure you are high enough. If not, raise it up a few cranks.
  18. You are #1 boss
  19. Now THAT is a good man. Not leaving poor, lonely waif on the side of the road.* Truck looks good back out on the road. * OD could use a few lessons on being a gentleman
  20. If trailer does not have parking brakes, back up til you bump lightly. Hook up airlines and charge trailer. Set brakes on trailer and then back up to lock. As Sleepwalker said, give a slight tug to insure connection. Oh, make sure trailer is raised up enough first
  21. Not that unusual for that stuff. Fuel tanks pulled off, dropping driveshafts. And then you get the guy that loses his hyd pump. Walking floors are lite weight, more payload. They run from Miami up tp Okeechobee all day-about 3 hours one way
  22. Must be cold there,eh?
  23. When the dump body is going up, and the D8 is pushing next to you, the shaking makes you think you're low on hyd. fluid Broke down trucks get pulled off the hill and down to the front. Fix it there or wrecker comes........soon
  24. WOW! traffic cones to direct the flow of traffic. We just run up the hill and find a spot. Heard a dump truck rolled today, haven't heard for sure. Had a downpour today also. They were draggin' em in and out
