    woops

Sorry I'm late to the party. Yes randy, I did the same thing in March. Lost all 10 (ten) tires that were on the ground. With insurance, it still cost me $2500. Oh, and the power company was $1200 since I didn't take a pole with me. Yes, when you are in the seat, that AW SHIT!!! hits, then the desire to get out. Luckily, I knew to stay put. Although one tire started smoking good and I thought I might have to take that leap of faith. Have not found anything that I can directly relate to the incident as of yet. Few years back, a WM driver got caught up in some wires, Jumped out all clear. realized he forgot his cell phone in the truck. that was it. Glad to hear your newb is fine, maybe smelled a little, but drawers is cheap. Teach him right
  6. I believe they are made by DEKA. Seen the truck at the local NAPA all the time Hmmm, may have to get one or two
  7. Yup, the beer is working
  8. I normally run Diesel Service stuff, mainly for added lubricity. The bottles I get at NAPA say "cold weather formula" or something like that. I was just wondering if the kero would create problems with the newer engines. NOT that I plan to go north of Orlando anytime soon. Thanks all for the input. Oh, and Randy, you actually NAME it? Stay warm
  9. I know this is odd coming from someone in Florida. Back in the day, a little help on the fuel system was to put a couple gallons of kerosene in the fuel tank. The reasoning was that kero kept fuel from gelling, and had a lower flashpoint to fire easier. With the new engines, ULSD, and such, is this still a practice in the northern areas? How good do the additives do? To what temp. are they effective? Yes, cold for us is maybe a frost.
  10. And unlimited unemployment EBT (food stamps) with little overview Obamaphone the list goes on
  11. That don't look like Richard Petty to me. Nice looking B, but i spilt my coffee trying to look at them
  12. You just don't effing get it do you? How do you know it was a fleet? Don't matter anyway, A man cannot work today. He will have some difficulty providing for those that depend on him. His next load will have to be delayed to locate another trucker. Maybe when you get older, you will understand. Until then, maybe show some respect for others
  13. Thanks for explaining that. Just what I meant
  14. That was probably some ones life that burned up. Despite the fact that it was a Peterbilt, does not take away from the fact that a mans lifeblood was destroyed. Myself, i do feel sorry for the owner and driver that he lost his work. But thats just me. Maybe I care about people, not the vocation.
