  1. We had an 80’ Superliner with a 3406A and a fuller 13 sp riding on camelback. Truck also had an aluminum frame.
  2. Sid Kamp bringing in stone to the Heights.
  3. Would a Cummins engine make the various wiring harness not garbage?
  4. 87’ Valu-Liner, it was our first mixer. Sold it 2 years ago. In its tenure for us it delivered 17927.5 yards of concrete over 2744 loads. I just happen to be sitting at the batch computer waiting for trucks to get back
  5. Well if Mack/Volvo could make an engine that wasn’t down, more than it was up, we would have Granite tractors
  6. We had bought one of Five Star’s old mixers at Ritchie Bro’s down there. Made it back north about 40 miles and had to call it. Oil blowing out the blow by real bad. Can’t win them all.
  7. I like that blue Granite Tractor!
  8. I’m surprised that Axle had one!
  9. I’m ignorant, but I don’t believe I have ever seen stainless lug nuts.
  10. I want to go hang out at Wolfmier!
  11. What is there to modernize? If it goes up and down, take it to PoundTown. Personally I like cables, if they mess up you usually can still work.
  12. Agreed on the oil sample. Personally, I would not worry To much about a gallon and half on 12000.
  13. Alumitank is about 20 miles from us. Great people, who sell a great product.
  14. Clean mixers is a labor of love.
  15. You can but, with the Mack trans case being aluminum most people mount them with a bracket to help take up some of the weight. We have them both ways and to date, I have not seen a Mack case crack.
  16. I don't know where to go for one of those "donuts" either
  17. We ran a Biko and a Jiffy stick boom for awhile. Our main thing is the Princeton forks on the back of the trailer. Block company we haul for used to run a bunch of Steelmasters and a handful of Palfinger knuckle booms. Now they are switching to Moffetts.
  18. Busy working here
  19. The trailer behind the R model is an old Harry W. Kuhn trailer, the one behind the CH is an old Doetch trailer. My uncle worked for Kuhn right up until the end, Dad worked their for a few seasons in the late eighties.
  20. Don’t get much more Chicagoland than Mack’s pulling frameless HilBilts
  21. And God Bless him for that!
  22. Lovin’ that SuperLiner with the Stone Slinger
