  1. Damn grille in the RD just don't have enough material left on it to bolt it to anything any more. I thought we had a regular RD grille in our stock pile, but I have not found it. Paul is trying to make it to Thanksgivng. The truck Paul is driving now, was Jack Craig's.
  2. Here is a bad picture, thru a dirt windshield, of the Super Aggregate RB.
  3. Oh yeah have been going there for years. Concrete Specialties bought them this summer.
  4. Huntley came out of Romeoville and Bartlett. We slipped a little on keeping them clean, just been to damn busy.
  5. Word on the street is that Super Aggregate has an RB that they just put together that is pretty sharp. Someone needs to get a pic.
  6. Our guys rolled a lot of pipe at the Weber job.
  7. My dad and an uncle both worked for Kuhn. A lot of our "rules" and procedures are based on what they did at Harry W. Kuhn.
  8. Belvidere Township in Boone county is the same way. They have 3 of the newer style Mack Granites.
  9. That is my personal truck, but I was not driving it at that time. I taught one of the children that started with us this spring how to handle the 12 speed. He is the only person besides my Dad and my brother that are allowed to run it.
  10. Geez, I didn't know you were such an old dusty fart.
  11. I think you saw Mr.Peterson. He rolls pipe with our guys out of Concrete Specialties. He has a very nice 359 painted very similar to Petermacks.
  12. When I started driving in the summer of 2000, I hauled for Geske. Ran with that R quite a bit and it was still a runner. At the time I was driving an ex-Plote R that was a 300/6 sp. I had to get after it like I knew how to keep up with that one
  13. There wasn't anything left to it that was worth a damn, otherwise I would of had it.
  14. To be honest, I didn't even know about it. Saturday is a busy day for ready mix and the rest of the weekend will be busy with getting things squared away before harvest hits.
  15. We prefer the term "Stark-a-fided"
  16. I've been passing that truck on the road for years and still can't figure out exactly what it is. Damn cool is all I know.
  17. We have 4 Cabs up for Grabs. CH day cab, CH big Bunk, LE, MR the MR has some rust in the wheel wells. Make me an offer on one or all. pm me please. Thanks, Brad
  18. I had the rare opportunity to leave the yard yesterday and caught a couple Mack's was I was out. The first one is an old Celli RB,now CTC. The second is the City of Loves Park Mack fire engine at CIT. Their Mack ladder truck was there also but for some reason I did not take a picture of it.
  19. That's what we try to accomplish, problem being new and old is parts availability. Granted we try to source good used, and aftermarket parts from credible sources. There are times when those sources and the dealers will have you out 2-3 days to a week on things that seem mundane. Before you know it a truck has been down for damn near 2 weeks. Thank goodness for extra trucks.
  20. Didn't mean to strike a nerve. Daughters birthday today so I started a Brisket last night, got that off late morning and put on those baby backs and some beef short ribs.
  21. The Big Mack Truck ride is bringing them to my Smoker!
