    I'm not trying to be a whiner, but I rarely get 30 miles from Marengo any more. If I do it's in a mixer or the six wheeler. Kinda miss getting out and about.

    "Torture" Bar. My Dad drove one along time ago and he says they did good off road, but you had to keep them greased. He said that they would pick up the ass of the truck with a loader to take all the weight off of the suspension to grease it.

    As cool as that would be, it runs way to good right now to mess with it.

    Yes, it is true. We added a 1981 R770 to our fleet. It currently has an E-7 mech., 13 sp Fuller, on Mack rears with Hendrickson air ride. Right around 3 million miles from a single owner/driver. The truck is an absolute pleasure to run.

    I also have taken pictures of that truck. My wife couldn't understand why I even turned around to do it.

    Thanks for the complement Mackey. We spent the whole afternoon washing trucks. There ain't nothing better than leaving the yard and seeing a bunch of clean trucks ready for Monday.
