  1. Brother and Dad's truck waiting on corn this Fall.
  2. My brother"s 91' RD before and after
  3. I have 4 five hole aluminum wheels just like the ones on the Celli R-model. Have a set on our 72' R-model pulling truck, and the other set is waiting for a truck to come along that would be good for them. -Brad
  4. That is exactly what I meant, stock rebuild is good. I have had 3 different Macks since the year 2000. All of them had alot of "experience" and were 300's. Some day I am going one that is a lil bit fresher and watch out. -Brad
  5. This truck had the normal RD grille when I got it 8+ years ago. I added that grille and bumper to get that "Western" look. -Brad
  6. 1) Double drop lowboy with 15,000 gal water tank. 2) flatbed with a concrete box culvert. I dont have any pictures with my tractor hooked to the fertilizer tanker. But that kinda covers what I do: flatbed, tanker, dump, hopper and lowboy normally within 150 miles of Chicago. -Brad
  7. First pic is from this spring, loading corn off the farm to go to Corn Products in Bedford Park. Second pic is from July, sitting under the "L" tracks on Lake st in Chicago. -Brad
  8. I would think with the pump rebuilt it should be fine. My EM-7 electronic has a million miles on it and i have never had the motor apart or the pump off. It does everything i need it to do. It doesnt like hills, but I am from Illinois so that is not as problem. MPG with a hopper or a flat is 5.5 to 6.5, short dump 4.5 to 5.5. -Brad
  9. Looks like those two dogs are guarding the lil' Petercar. -Brad
  10. I have seen all of those but 2. -Brad
  11. It's a sad day for old trucks. Hopefully they get melted down and made into parts for new Mack trucks.-Brad
  12. I am against car payments of any kind. I would run what you have untill the wheels fall off. If anything, put a pu box on it. You know what you have there, compared to buying some other guys problems. - Brad
  13. Mark is the son on "The Rifleman". Was OtherDog a child star? -Brad
  14. Do people just drop off the Mack's that they can't care for anymore at your place? Kinda like a pet shelter? If so, you have a good thing going. -Brad
  15. I wouldn't give it a second thought. -Brad
  16. Yes, that is Kevin All's truck. i think we have had it about 8 years. E7 mechanical (hp?) Fuller 9 sp. Mack 4.42 rears on Mack air ride. It gets up and goes very nice and the Jake works good. Very quiet in the cab, quieter than my RD. -Brad
  17. I am always surprised when I drive our F, because it is so damn comfortable. It has what I believe is the original Bostrom seat, and limited room. But when I get in that thing I just feel like I could drive all day. Took it out to Walcott a few years ago, and the drive out there and back, was the best part. -Brad
  18. Well if you are ever in our neighborhood, you better have some towels to clean yourself up. You never know when you might see it out. My guess is that it will be back in the shed for the winter as soon as it starts snowing around here. -Brad
  19. This was the second day out with the B-75. I ran a load out of the field on Friday, and Dad ran it all day Saturday. We ended up with an extra plate after we sold some CH's to Africa., so we put it on the B-75. Havent hauled anything with the F, except other old trucks. It does not have a low enough gear to ever leave the pavement. -Brad
  20. sorry i thought i posted the pictures, let me try again.
  21. Yesterday was our last day in field. Dad with the B-75, Ken with the Granite, and myself with my RD. There were 2 of our other trucks on the run also, but we were never in the field together. We were keeping up with a good customer of oour that is running 2 Case IH 9230 combines with 12 row heads. It was a great day. -Brad
  22. This was the week of seat exchanges for me. I had found a new Eldoradro VIP on craiglist for $250. It s a deal, so I jump on it. Put it in last Sunday and I couldn't wait to get on the road in it Monday. Right off the bat I didn't care for how high the lowest setting was. I figured I would get used to it. Monday was ok, Tuesday about 3 PM I start getting a pain in back just below my shoulder blades., Wednesday the pain sets in a lil earlier and by Friday, it's noon time and I really can't get excited about getting back in the truck. So yesterday after I got back to the shop, I put my old Bostom back in. I have had that seat for 9 years. Replaced the bottom cushion 3 times in those 9 years. It's just getting to a point wear it is wore out. Called the local dealer the local dealer and a new grey, vinyl , mid back Bostrom with the dog embossed on the back goes for $450. Guess we will get through the winter and see what spring brings, even it is just a sore butt. -Brad
  23. I feel bad missing the $10500 go around. Did the E-9 run? I had heard thru the grapevine that it had issues. -Brad
