  1. Your speed a large factor along with rolling resistance of tires and type of trailer. The difference between 55 and 65 mph is almost 1 mpg.
  2. My truck won't do the 70 mph speed limit don't get mad at me but it is of the brown variety.
  3. The first ones we got were dummy axles(ride really bad) then we got a run of full twin screws which I got one of those (don't ride quite as bad)
  4. Not ours. Can't even turn the dam volume down on it.
  5. Only the single axles we got in 2012, everything since is either tandem with dummy axle or full twin screws with mp8's and the mdrive.
  6. All our Trucks since 2015 have come with disc brakes all the way around along with that dam Bendix collision mitigation system.

  13. Ford Ranger and Bronco are coming back in late 2017 with a diesel option to compete with the Colorado duramax option.
  14. Within ten years, the majority of the fleets will have autonomous trucks and therefore no need for drivers. Drivers will be relegated to the specialized jobs along with owner operators being still utilized. Companies that have set runs everyday will not need drivers, greatly reducing their costs that will more than pay for the technology. It is coming and it is happening fast.
  15. You can run any engine you want in California as long as it has a dpf on it.

  17. Unfortunately all anyone wants to sell anymore is auto shifts. There are too many guys out there that are driving trucks not truck drivers.
  18. 2007 aren't pre emission either. They were first stage and had egr to worry about.
  19. At work (UPS) we got a ton of them. The first batch were tandems with the rear axle as a air tag, horrible ride and poor handling in snow. I just got a new one a month ago and it is a full twin screw. Shifts WAY nicer then the 10 psd ultra shifts in the Kenworths. It shifts smooth but never shifts the same way twice.

  21. Oozing a drivers are wound up. If they get caught carrying a cell phone in the mixer it's goodbye job!
