I Hate to hear this . Cause Wonder Bread/ Hostess has a Bakery in Downtown Memphis . 1 of the reasons why i like going to Tri State Mack . Had to pass by the bakery & ya can smell the bread baking .. YUM!!! I Went in the Memphis Bakery on school field trips back in the mid 80's showed us how the bread was made but not the twinkies . Gonna Miss the WONDER Bread store in Frayser (North Memphis) LIKE GOING IN THERE BUYING BREAD TWICE AS CHEAPER THAN THE GROCERY STORE . & SO ARE THE TWINKIES, MOON PIES, HO HO's & Chochodiles . ;-)

Same here David about the same time period Sears closed thier Catalog store in Memphis round 95' . A Group is planning on taking the old sears building in Memphis & Make Apartments out of the building . 1.3 million sq ft. building . stilling empty since 95 . my great uncles , great aunts & grandparents all remember going down there as kids . If 1 of the big 3 demolition contractors in Memphis ever tore it down they would have a job fer awhile.

The only Mutt we owned was an 83 Superdog w/ a NTC 400 BC Cummins & thats because the driver that drove this truck drove for my faily for 30 yrs & pop & dad kept him happy . over all it was a good truck just strange hearing a dog hum insted of growl . TO BMT !!!! Budd Wheels Takes Sqaure shank inner nut then the outer nut . Pilot wheels take a single nut. ya as others saying , you would have to change out the hubs to have pilot wheels on an older R Model . later aka bulldog man on BMT .

I Got a buddy of mine who isa die hard Dodge man , IVE GOT 2 UNCLES & My cousins are Dodge Men . Me ive been around GMC, Chevy & Ford all my life .ALL of tell me BUY A DODGE I TOLD EM ALL : Somthing bout the Dodge Eblem just reminds me of a womans privite parts ! My Aunts & My Cosin & Buddies Wifes & Girlfriends Go to Laughing . IF i did Notice i said IF !! I Did I would but a Dodge truck for 1 REASON & 1 REASON ONLY !!!! THE CUMMINS MOTOR !!! If it Can Push dirt in a 850 & 1150 Case Dozer its gotta be good !!! I Just dont like the wrapping paper that Cummins is wrapped in when it comes to a pick up . Never did like the way the starters sounded on a Dodge !!! always thought they was about to fall apart. guess it was just the way they sounded !! Personally If still had a pick up (even tho it was a rebadged Reo) id buy that over a Ford , GM Or Dodge . Later

Ya i remember seeing this movie when i was 11 yrs old . I Went to crying My grandma & oldest sister asked me what was wrong ? I YELLED THEY KILLED THE BULLDOG !!!! Later that day my granddad asked how i liked the movie my sister said he balled like a baby when they blew up the B Model ! My pop said that Figures !!! Loved hearing that 238 in that Thurston GMC Brigadier too . The R model gas wagon in Max OD Soundedlike a 237 Or 300 . Yall dont get me wrong i like a Detroit . hell i was raised on every Model 2 stroke from a 271 to a 12v71 Buzzin Dozen ! Esp the 353 &671 (238) BUT When i herd the West Coast R Model in Convoy Scream then herd him growl in other parts of the movie , i thought it was a shame they dubbed a 318 Detroit over a E6 300 Mack . Still one of my favorite movies thopugh . Ya can tell the Brockway in Convoy had the ole Compression release Hummin Cummins in it when it started up . that ole truck shook like a ole 72' White Xpedpiditor Tractor truck my POP Had w/ a 250 Compression release Cummins & 9 spd Road Ranger in it the ole Low cabover white did the same thing . & Ya thats An ole A Car My dad & pop both had a A Car like this along w/ a sqare fendered DC & DK Model Autocar The old W.M.C (White Motor Co. ) Autocars were next to a : in my book esp w/ a cummins motor in them . later

Thats the way it is here its a bunch of ole Farm Dogs around here too & they come out of the dog houses come harvest season . & Ya the local NAPA HERE DOES A HELL OF A BUSINESS HERE TOO W/ all the farmers, contractors & trucking companies hauling rock in memphis that are based in North Shelby & South Tipton Counties . (my neck of the woods)

Yup I-40 ACROSS Ar is a WASHBOARD!!! I Travel it quite a bit tween Memphis & Little Rock . !! & I Agree w/ Dirty White BOY I -20 IN MS IS A WASHBORD & I-90/94 Anit much better either. (@ least when i was pulling FEMA TRAILERS Through Chicago after Katrina it was BAD EVEN HAD DESTRUCTION IN ROCKFORD,Ill @ the time )

ME TOO !!Well im back too after my vacation dure to lack of a working computer. & so there are 2 Dirt slinging Kooks here now. ( ya i drive for a tire man but was raised on the farm & in the excavating business. also still work for some buddies of mine who are in the excavating business Operating equipment for them when im needed .) Dirt Sliggin is in my blood hell its like trucks : i got the fever & cant get rid of it. i played w/ Tonka toys as a kid now i play w/ the big boys toys & get paid fer it later
