  10. I have a 1960 mack h-67 and the questions are! 1. is this truck 12 or 24 volt? 2. is it positive ground from the factory? 3. how can I tell if it has been changed over to neg through the years? I bought the truck at auction and the batteries were hooked up for 12V. The batteries where new and had 12 v each but I still had to jump as the truck did start but, turned over slow.
