  11. it is 205 miles from my house to their shop, wish it was closer, but aint no way i would go any where else. unloading south chicogo thur.am and i will drive by 5 or 6 dealers to get to them for a pm. i wish i knew what the profit difference is in a shop like that compared to the assembly line type??
  12. i think mackpro is doing just fine where he is, a dealer that understands customer service, and employ's that take pride in their work.... i think the difference between mcbride and the big city shops in the city you talk to the clerk that writes down your info, and makes notes for the service manager, who has about 15 seconds to talk to you, then you wait some where, till the acounting person comes for you, about an hour after your truck is done and parked out side. at mcbride i pull up to mackpro's door usually he's ready for me so i pull it inside, talk to the guy that is actually going to work on my truck, when he is done he says jump in there and crank it up, if every thing is to my likeing, i back it out go hook my trailer, stop on the way out to sign the bill that goes to my wife, i think, and im on my way THATS CUSTEMER SERVICE IN MY BOOK
  13. i wonder how the brokers seem 2 know where u live great rates going out then half price after that
  14. has any one ever seen, a company that has a good product and reinvests most of its profits back into the company, because they beleive in it, and want to be the best at what they do. only to be bought out by a giant corporation that runs their good reputation into the ground, then borrows every cent they can get, only to leave a debt ridden shell of the once great company that made something more important than money. that is to be discarded like a disposable rag when they cant ring anymore out of it. in some rare instances i have seen the unfortunate people who depend on such, given the chance to purchace the debt ridden vessel and spend the rest of their lives trying to return it to its former glory. i hope it works out that good. the ramblings that go threw the mind of an old trucker waiting on a load..............
  15. there are some guy's on here that are really good at it. when i was looking at mine, i listed what truck paper had, by the next day, i was told everything about mine, all the mistakes that were on the listing, every time it had been worked on, any parts that had been replaced, i was amazed. when you are getting help with a problem, it helps if you have your vin posted with the modle on your sig.
