  1. nope on the apu, just sleeping with the curtains open for now.
  2. i don't think it has a cab filter, thursday nite it was ice cold, friday nite it was like the heater was on, instead of a/c
  3. a/c in berth working fine, next nite blowing hot. a/c in cab working fine, don't know where to start looking for the problem?????????
  4. if you use a blow gun to clean the cab its worth checking, if you take out throttle assy. remove servo, you can turn it with a small screw driver, if there is a grit of sand in it you can hear it, most time brake cleaner will wash it out.
  5. are you f@#kin with me.
  6. another guy is having same problem, i think it is in electrical forum, just last week, fjh showed some stuff i never heard of.
  7. just wandering what a full restoration on something like this would cost? i know if i have to ask i couldn't afford it, but i would still like to know.
  8. hello and welcome nice looking vision, but that LT is one of the best looking trucks i have ever seen way nicer than those KW pictures gambi has posted. lol.
  9. Sure Wish I would have Finished Training
  10. niceeeeeee
  11. you guy's sure know how to ruin the day for a small time owner operator, that loves mack trucks.
  12. it's worth the gamble for $30 bucks. if it don't work put it rite back on ebay??????????????????
  13. hi fireman, ive been running i44 some been keeping an eye out for ya. i found i get better mpg at 70 mph than 60,when i was having coolant push trouble with my vision it uually happend in the 55 mph states. if you are having a coolant push, contact me, i got a line on a one piece tank, brand new and cheep, it wont last long.
  14. have had this problem on several trucks like yours, every time it was throttle pedel servo, if driver used air to blow out inside of cab, it would happen again very quick, after a while found we could clean servo with brake cleaner, fixes it 9 out of 10 times, took a few of them apart found one grain of sand would cause it to do that. now i only vac inside of cab, i never use air to blow floor clean, hope this helped?
  15. i guess he didn't buy it, i saw it on trucker to trucker this morning, maybe i should look at it, all the research has been done allready, with less than 200k on the odometer with an asking price of $39,000, seems ok.
  16. or you could leave the string like it is and it would be like old ones
  17. if the string was shorter and there were 2 of them it would be like playing with boobies.
  18. welcome let her loose, im trying to figure out who you are, ive been around, midwest, huber, big bill revell, i spent a lot of mornings down on the beach with johny miller.
  19. i think so. i sat down with an old timmer and a 12 pack of bud, this is what i gatherd from our 3 hr. conversation. there are some self proclaimed engineers that think the higher the gears the better the mpg. and they wind up with a truck that is a total pos, constantly broke down, for no other reason than can't go across level ground without lugging it's gut's out.
  20. i like the truck you have better
  21. at a $90,000 price tag it wouldn't be that bad. but at double that i would be very disapointed.
  22. i don't know what to do, you are having good luck with the plate, mackpro had one stopped up last week, wich is the same as the plate, and it was throwing a code, only difference is plate is above mass flow tube????? clog was below?????? mine is running good so i hate to mess with it, but it's gona crack sooner or later!!!!!!! i am wandering how fjh plate job is doing??????
  23. im sure i can speak for jerryb also when i say we do thank all of you for taking time to help us understand this challenge, it has been rolling around our heads for quite a while. it sounds like we are gonna have to wait on mackpro's test kit, and live with the turbos.
