  1. I want to say around '93 or so.Don't think they even had any sloped hood RDs,Trent.I do remember when Emil took a bunch of their hard nose R's in on trade.Had to be around '86-'87.
  2. Got a picture of a Lindahl R that was painted special for our country's bicentennial.I'll have to dig for that one!
  3. Yes you are correct,Trent.Big Al Sarno passed away and the company was liquidated earlier this year.He was all-Mack for along time.
  4. I can hear the wheels a turnin' from here,Mike! (Mike probably has a motor for that one in stock!)
  5. ..................and how about this V-8 powered early Super-Liner (sorry not an R),that Tom Bronge (Big Iron) drove when it was brand-spanking new!
  6. Nice pictures,Vinny. That green/black Super-Liner just needs the upper part of the cab painted white, and it could be part of my fleet!
  7. Thats all I see around here for our garbage trucks. They do make a line of spotting tractors now.Maybe their R&D department is toying with expanding the line?
  8. Very nice,Leslie! You lucky duck!!!!
  9. TBone, you would be in compitition with Mikey Harbison for current good lookin' Bulldogs!
  10. I think that is the lower front fender from a Value-Liner,if I'm not mistaken,Jim.I had a similiar set-up on my '90 RD
  11. He did buy a Granite for a roll-off and one for a lube truck, though. Maybe they're coming back around?
  12. OK,I'm back from my trip to Upper Michigan. Here is another Axle Equipment post card!
  13. Can't wait! I had an A51T also, but sold it to a guy who stuffed it in a barn,in Iowa (not Superdog)! Never did have its END510 running. That filter housing almost looks like an early (correct) Luberfiner with that bolt on top cover like that.I don't know what year MACK came out with Full-Flow/Bypass like I have on the BCR. Could that be an early version of the MACK filter? Does it have any lettering on the top of the cover at all? The early Luberfiners do. Always liked the A's!
  14. Sounds like you got BULLDOG Fever! And the only known cure is MORE AIR HORN!
  15. I was going to say,Paul.Only problem with having a truck that BIG,is the permits that you would have to secure just to get it to a show. Then again, what cop in their right mind is going to pull that beast over as your driving down the street?
  16. What model is that? Like a LRVSW or something?
  17. Sure, and ENDT673 had a turbo and was available in many B models.B-613,B-753,B-813,and some I'm probably not thinkin' about.
  18. That guy has been known to have some real "gems",Tom! Buyer Beware!! Unless Paul is that generous
  19. No need to go to the corner,T-Bone! I'm sure there are some 711's out there with turbos on them.As far as I know, they only came from the factory naturally aspirated.Besides,at 211 hp,who needs "speed equipment" like a turbo
  20. I know Celli experimented with them.Couldn't get 'em to stay together long, though!
  21. Yeah,I think that was just a "joke" sticker on his hood.Didn't know if the 1674 would fit or not.Must have been a tad too long for the eastern 600'sHe was a all-Mack kind of guy anyway.Probably did that to pull someones chain!
  22. I believe at that time the 1674 (270hp) was popular and might have fit.I know a local excavator (who later went all-Mack) had some older Hendricksons powered by 1673s and 1674s.
  23. Happy Birthday
