  1. I think thats the same truck Werner uses as their training unit. Lol Al
  2. Looks great. Nice attention to detail. Al
  3. In one of my vintage BULLDOG magazines from the '60's,there was an article announcing MACK's re - entry in the trailer business. I never read any more on that second venture into trailer manufacturing. Maybe kscarbel2 can shed some light? Al
  4. I have plans for an upgraded chassis for the BCR. Using the chassis I bought from Superdog, installing a 237/6 speed,36" aluminium bunk, and a tag axle. Also,an A model would be cool to have around. Better build a shop first! Al
  5. Congratulations,Timmy! Al
  6. Whew, just your description sends shivers up my spine! Glad you guys are alright. Al
  7. I remember the fancy paint jobs,Bill. Fancy, but nothing like those east coast garbage trucks. Some of those things were pretty sharp. Al
  8. I think that outfit was Barberra or something like that,Brad. Al
  9. I was thinking the same thing,Joe. A 711 couldn't take much lugging. Hooking it to 5 speed sounds like the ultimate torture test. Lol. Al
  10. That is cool,Dave.....The story and the truck! Al
  11. Been a Jeep fan for years. This is good stuff kscarbel. Thanks,Al.
  12. He's got to blame someone,Ron. It doesn't matter what "they" do or say, stuff is going to happen whether it be with a hammer, baseball bat, kitchen knife, pipe bombs, and yes, homemade (zip) guns. These idiots are all drinking the same KooL-Aid,and THEY need to be stopped. Said it before, and I'll say it again,BAN IDIOTS,NOT GUNS! My .20.......Al
  13. Welcome! You've come to the right place! Al
  14. In my backyard (like 5 blocks away) and never knew it was there! Hmmmm?
  15. I agree,Gregg. There is always going to be someone nitpicking about being original or not. I am glad my truck was a conversion, that way I have little to gauge "original" on! LOL! Al
  16. Welcome....."Just jump in where you can,and hang on!" Al
  17. A guy in S. WI. Chapter of the ATHS had a nice ex - Overnite MB, at the show in Baraboo,Wi.,last year. Another guy in our chapter(NW.Ill.) is putting one together, also. Al
  18. Sounds like a good deal of pride still remains at the old Allentown Mack (now Trans Edge). You guys are lucky to have a dealership that values you, like most used to. God bless 'em. Al
  19. As far as I know,Mike. They brought this truck out to the Franklin Grove,Il. show last summer. Didn't see Barton. Al
  20. Found another pic of the Dunn CH.
  21. When that truck was brand new,it was painted exactly opposite. Mostly white with red stripes. Similar to this Super-Liner that Tom Bronge drove in the early '80's,only with a shack on the back.
