    Prayers to your wife and you. Hope all goes well. I never did work at a filling station ( I was lucky enough to work in a truck garage!),although many of my friends did. A good place to hang out and help when needed. That was before the garages were converted into C-stores,and bulk oil was available at the island! At least we have the memories, right? Al

    Mark,I also talked to him @ MATS. When he was reviving the magazine and another time when he was checking out a new Freightshaker FLD Classic. While we were by the F/L booth,I asked him if he rode that mule or horse to L'ville? He said "you're too young to remember that". I said that may be true,but I got that back issue for Christmas one year! He had a script in his hand called"18 Wheels of Justice". He handed it to me and said read it and tell me what you think. I still have that script! Thank you,Mike for all you did for The American Trucker. R.I.P.

    That P.Baker R is a '71! Never used in the winter. It has held up well! They also had a B-60 water truck that had a IH RD-450 under the hood. Think it is still at Lake Bluff! They have an RB & a '80's R for water trucks now.

    I did run a "Euclid or Terex Green" 22 tonner @ Marengo! Damn near the most fun you can have with your clothes on! Lol!

    Ken,it's all I got left to hold on to! LOL! Notice in the bottom picture,Superdog(aka the "Monty Hall" of the old used bulldog world),is prolly hearing a story like,"my dad used to have one of these" or "do you want an old I have sitting behind the barn"! Hopefully it was both!
