  4. From the May-June-July 1972 issue of the BULLDOG,comes this achievement by what is now known as WATT'S TRUCK CENTER (still WATT'S :mack1:to me). Just thought Barry might want to send this back to the guys at the shop! Congrats.......uh,just a couple years late........sorry!

I used a product called "Tal-Strip" that was first used for stripping paint off aircraft.I used plastic scrapers (like a bondo paddle) so as not to scratch the aluminum.I actually used it to strip the paint off the hood (fiberglass) on the BCR,also.Had to act quick with the fiberglass stripping,however!!
  8. Larry, Did your buddy ever have any problem getting the cab warm in the winter? The one I learned on was only 7 years old at the time,and we could not get that thing to heat/defrost for nothin'........BRRRRRR!!!! We blamed it on the 318 Detroit not having enough water runnin' through it to heat up. Al

  18. Hey Ron,Andy has been driving his '74 R685ST(latest MACK he has restored) to more shows nowadays.Yes as I understand it,dual headlights were an option on the FS/FL trucks.
  19. Randy,that purple/white FL belongs to Andy Martin of Wilton,Wis.He shows it quite a bit around the Midwest during the show season.Aussies, correct me if I'm wrong.didn't :mack1:produce( or have had locally made) an all fiberglass F cab for you guys?
