  1. There was a snow/sleet/rain mix along with 20mph winds. Not really a Kodak moment. PeterMack was snapping some pics, maybe he'll post 'em here later?
  2. Thanks again Mike for letting us roam around the yard! Always good talking to you and checking out the treasures at your place!
  3. Thanks Doug. Guess that's what I get for reading the :mack1:BULLDOG,when most of the kids at school were reading comic books!
  4. Looks like a Stork to me!
  5. Mack had an "All-American Team" that salesmen and dealers would get named to after having a "banner year" in sales.I seem to remember it being in a early 70's BULLDOG magazine. The annual sales meeting included speakers like Coach Vince Lombardi & Bart Starr of the Green Bay Packers and a host of other football celebs.Guess the statue in question must have belonged to a distributor or salesman who made the team.
  6. That sounds like a good solution there,Vinman.
  7. Yep! Kinda looks like It, Mark. But now that I see it again, this sleeper looks to have crank out (Jalousie) windows (instead of a stationary window) & a small like ventshade above it.Not saying somebody couldn't have modified it over the years (because that never happens! ...yeah, right). Just sort of a "stumper". Did you ever see a truck from the old days in a picture and wonder "where is that truck right now?" I do it all the time!...........................Al
  8. I'll check it out 75T,thanks!
  9. Thanks guys.
  10. Thanks for tryin', Larry! Must be in my confuser, somewhere ................Al
  11. For the past few days when I go to "quote" (in my lower right hand corner),it starts a new post (instead of answering a certain post). What the heck? I'm at a loss here!
  12. The black B-70 something w/sleeper cab, looks like it could be an old GREENSTEIN truck I have a picture of (somewhere).Looks to be in it's second career in this picture(if it is the same truck!).Nice pics,Mark..........Al
  13. No problem,Mike.I think when I quit learning something new, they'll be throwin' dirt on me! Didn't seem like made a bunch of those top-loaders,even a better reason to save it!
  14. Cool truck! That looks the CRD-91 carrier in a RADL-515 axle. That blue/white RL700L that was at the ATHS national shows a few years back, had the same axle set-up.I always thought it was the rear axle out of a tandem also, but it has its own ratios, unique to that rear axle series only:4.39,5.07,5.46,6.45 & 7.03! Got this info out of the reprinted B,G,H,and N model operator's manual.Newer versions might have some faster ratios, I would imagine.
  15. Nice truck! Like the way its painted right now.Just my opinion. You will be improving the looks of your area no matter what color you paint it,for sure!
  16. Happy Thanksgiving to all on BMT!!
  17. Neat little R model. Agree with the rest of you guys on it not being an '83.Don't think I would spend $9,500.00 on a Scania powered Mack, though! Little steep there,Abdul!
  18. Good for you and the trucks,Leslie!
  19. I don't know ws721,it looks like it was installed right.Just looks kinda funky to me( knowing it should be on a KW). But hey, if you like it and find it interesting, thats ok too!
  20. Looks like a transplant from the east.Typically, you wouldn't see the short wb or the spokes out there.Although,it is advertised in SPOK-ane!
  21. I seen it now.Looks like somebody spent a lot of time for nothing!
  22. I've seen R-model front axles put on B's also,with good results,Matt.
  23. There was an outfit in the late '70's that made an aerodyne roof for just about any current cabover of the day.I always remember the Bekins F-model (aerodyne roof) from Iowa that was featured in OVERDRIVE.
  24. Not bad, both of 'em for a buck! Can't beat the price!
  25. Those welders are just like the :mack1:Trucks of the same era.Built to go the distance and then some. Popular machine,Seen many in use over the years.Good luck with it!
