  2. Glad you missed the tornado,Victor. It leveled nearby Washington,Il. on Sunday!
  3. Ouch! That 6 wheeler driver must have been living right! Too close for comfort, there!
  4. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's a magnetic counter weight!

    Tornado

Coal City and Diamond (60 miles southwest of Chicago) were also hit.Very near Wilmington where just 2 weeks ago I picked up a Quadbox from a good friend & had a great time visiting with macknutt & b61mack. Hope everyone there is OK as well.
  6. Me know how, just want 'em chance!
  7. Keep it! You'll kick yourself sooner or later for getting rid of it.It is a BEAUTY! Fair price for a total restoration.......if you took less than $50,000.00 for that truck, you'd be cheating yourself! My .02
  8. The white R model w/Mac trailer belongs to Kenny Fiantago.
  9. Closest version,so far Jim.Thanks.
  10. You bet,Ethan.Wish I could tell you where it is now! They traded it in on a new, big radiatored B-73 in '62 with a big 220 Cummins in it!
  11. I hear ya,Joe.Like just about everyone on BMT,you want to ALL of the puzzle pieces gathered up before you start,I understand!
  12. Thanks for that ,Jake. I have seen the 2 separate decals before. I could go that route, too. Al
  13. I had an A-51T with the 510 and a duplex in it.Never took the time to see if it would run.Sold it at an auction. It was rough. But with enough $$$$ thrown at it,it would have been a cool truck. It sits in a barn in Iowa now.
  14. Thought maybe Courtland Truck Works might have them,Joe.Looks like they have a bunch, but for the separate boxes. Al
  15. From the album: 57 BCR's Trucks

Headed south on Wis. 78 in between Black Earth and Mt. Horeb,Wis. 10/16/2013
  16. Yeah,I think your right about where they ended up Jim.This one was even more rare with spokes instead of Budds, probably!
  17. Ha ha! Driving an old A-model yard dog just out of high school,I thought the same thing,John! Just like a '32 Ford coupe or something, right?
  18. Sorry,Ethan. This is only other shot I have of that truck.I'm sure the museum would have some factory shots somewhere. They are a rare breed, for sure. This one did have a 200 Cummins and a triplex. It was a '56 B-73LST!
  19. Wow! Nice,Mark.Looks factory.Clean lines! Thanks for sharing..............Al
  20. Joe, The Watt's version is for an 18 speed where you go from 4th high to 5th high (not splitting 5th gear at all).My trans according to the manual is a 20 speed, where you do split 5th gear.A little different. Thanks for the suggestion, though.I will check with Matt if I can't come up with anything from anybody on here,he is a busy man! Al
  21. Need a shift pattern plate (diagram) for a TRQ-720 trans.Doesn't have to be new, just decent & readable.PM me if you have one you would like to sell. Thanks..........Al
  22. "Just jump on in and hold on"!!
  23. No gaskets for the dogs,Mark. The only thing I think I've ever seen between the door & the dogs, was a maple leaf (Canadian production).
