    P.G. Adams does very nice work from what I've seen.There was a post on here some months back,of a guy that did just that(outside rail replacement) to a red RD dump chassis.Looked like he did a nice job on it.We've got a local welder around here that does the 45 degree thing on all his stretches & repairs.I have never seen any of his frame mods,come back for warranty work.

    10-4 on the 609,Matt.Ahh yes,I see the Duplex shift decal now! Is it a direct Duplex or an overdrive Duplex? Ha-ha,just kiddin'!! All in all,not too shabby!

    Nice wheelbase for a single axle & power steering to boot! Would make Vision 386 a real nice antique "project truck"! I also wonder jakebrake,if it is a duplex or triplex for that matter.Has the "dummy" shutters (small radiator) like it may be an R607T with turbo added later.Either way, its what some would call "very restorable"!

    I always heard 50wt engine oil in Spicers,also.Too heavy (like 80/90) will not lube the needle bearings like the thinner oils.

    I hear ya,Mark! Why companies don't give professionals like you THE best work is beyond me! Got tired of running a "money-laundering" business myself. I had some freedoms as an O/O,but the weren't without a price tag.I wish you the best of luck,my friend. Al (as PeterMack says,get an antique to drive around in,if you get a company gig.Its the most fun I have driving anymore!)

    That was a nice truck! I can remember going to the '72 Chicago Auto Show with my Dad and a buddy.We got to sit in Chevy's display Titan/90.There is a b&w photo of the truck on Hank's. We walked away shruggin' our shoulders sayin',"it aint no "!! LOL!

    Yes it is,Jim.Solid mount,too!Those 2 mixers were bought from the company I work for(Meyer Material Co.).We usually don't sell them locally with the barrels still on them.But being that Welch Brothers is a customer and not a competitor,they waived that part of the deal!
