  1. I remember the story in a BULLDOG magazine from years back,Mike. There is supposed to be a Freightshaker there too, that was the 1st one sold outside of CF.
  2. I know their B C R went there.
  3. Thanks,Barry! The "likes" are restored!! Looks good!
  4. Congrats & Good Luck,Trent!
  5. Wonder if anyone will be rebuilding Pinnacles,Granites, and Visions, etc.,in 25 years? Hmmm?
  6. I think you'll be a shoe-in for the "longest travelled" award!
  7. GOOD JOB,RANDY! Good thing you posted the new picture.I prolly would have passed by ya at Macungie, and not even known it! Again
  8. The RL/RS (Western) 700 was replaced by the Superdog,Matt.The Eastern R-700 lived on, but with a taller stance,much like the RS/RL 700 until I think '84.
  9. One of the Meyer Bros. had a single axle years ago with a Clariben hood on it also.Roger could sure shave the pounds off of a B model.Air start (motorcycle battery for the lights),gutted doors (no regulators),Plexiglas side windows held up with a thumbscrew set-up.You name it,if it didn't have to be on the truck to function,Roger took it off! He put all that extra weight in his wallet! $$$$$$$
  10. I bought a new hood (after a wreck) in '96-'97 from MACK for something like $1275 at the time. They (our local MACK dealer) gave me $200 for what was left of my hood.I wonder if the aftermarket hoods (like a Jones) would work,Jake,if you "trimmed" the bottom of the fender? Just a thought.
  11. I had a '90 RD690S with the same hood/lower fender set-up.Mine was built in Oakville also.Don't think it mattered where it was built, just when.I know another guy who had a new '88 RD688S built in Winnsboro,S.C.,with the same hood also. They do look a little like a set back, but that would have been an RB at that time.
  12. And they keep crying "Driver Shortage"! TREAT THE PEOPLE WHO MOVE THE FREIGHT,THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED (FAIR)!! There would be no driver shortage then (or much less of one). You guys know where I'm coming from, but THEY don't! My .02 Al
  13. I often wondered about the Hendrickson connection on the fenders also,Mark. Then I remembered what model "Hank" that they could be from.A short,sloped-hooded model that resembled a C model or even an S model KW of the day.
  14. I agree.there seems to have been a bunch of these built.A local excavator has had one like it for years now.I'll try to get a picture of it.
  15. Happy Birthday,guys !
  16. Happy Birthday.........Wow, you're that OLD?
  17. I never looked at the engine in a B-57.Is that one tilted too,Mike?
  18. Hmmm? Sounds like the new "BMT bunkhouse" might be full for the Macungie show!
  19. Ernie, My cousin had 2 '69 DM's with that trans in them.A buddy of mine has a real nice '68 R685T ,also with that trans. Al
  20. You got some good shots there,Brian!
