  2. Yes sir.Mike & Ron usually drive their trucks to Macungie.Good people,also.
  3. That used to belong to John Fischer. Now it belongs to Mike Bogan (b61mack's brother) out of Delphi,In.,Mark Al
  4. I agree,Jim. I think PeterMack is correct. It looks to be an old S.E.T. Enviromental tractor. There was a few old GP tractors running around here at one time.I bet they're long gone though. Bill Bedell Photo.....Mid '70's R for GP
  5. That's too bad,Vinny.I hate to hear about crap like that.Hope they catch the idiots and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law!
  6. ........Just jump on in and HOLD ON!!
  7. Right back at ya,Bob! And everyone else, for that matter.Have a great Memorial Day!!
  8. I seen it out in front of Alliance the other day.Figured it was going to a parade somewhere! Glad to see it out again.
  9. ...............Yep,can't go wrong with a green B-model w/pinstriping,Josh.Looks good! (like the wheelbase, but the sleeper is kinda small )
  10. ...........Boy,that one with the "Horseshoe" on the front license plate is sweet! .................
  11. Said it before, and I'll say it again-That truck ended up at the right place!
  12. Sometimes we have to improvise! Looks good, nicely done Besides, you can always get the floormats from Watts,if you desire!
  13. Found a roll of TUMS (for the tummy) in the glove box of the BCR.Also a notebook with instructions how to get to Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. in West Virginia, somewhere! I put the TUMS back in the truck after we finished painting it!
  14. Good lookin' rig there,Ken.
  15. A guy that used to haul out of the same pit as me,had Volvo/White/GMC (like an '89 model) that had T-Ride on it.It seemed like a good suspension on and off the road.My cousin had T-Ride on a Volvo/Autocar,and he thought it was great.I have driven a truck with the Chalmers suspension on it and would consider that too.Hendrickson also makes walking beam/air-ride (similar to the Raydan).Keep in mind,I am talking about vocational truck suspensions.
  16. Received my latest copy of the BULLDOG,on Thursday.Page 8 shows "new" highway and vocational suspensions offerings from MACK.The air-ride highway truck suspension looks new to me,but the vocational suspension is the VOLVO T-Ride (in MACK speak-"mRIDE").I don't know how you guys feel, but this seems like too much VOLVO,and not enough MACK to me! I know-get used to it.I guess,as long as they don't discontinue the Camelback option,it shouldn't matter to me right? On the other hand, they do offer a bigger selection of suspension choices than they used to.Probably, good for them.Good news is the proven MACK top loader carriers, still in place!
  17. Aye Carumba!!
  18. .................Remember when Sex was safe, and Hot Rods (or Rat Rods) were dangerous?!!!!
  19. Love the bottom picture.I work for the company that bought that outfit.Told my boss about the posting of that picture(his family started McHenry Ready mIx).He smiled!
  20. Yep.thats where he told me he was at,Mike.I remember on the way to Walcott I stopped there and there was some old Standard Forwarding daycab FL's parked in a row.I remember those trucks going through Crystal lake when I was a little shaver!
