  2. Maybe it was just OVERDRIVE flipping the cab over, really testing its toughness!!
  3. Would like to put a small bunk on the BCR someday,Mike.Always thought they looked good with a sleeper on them.Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
  4. That looks like the old TEAMSTERS truck.
  5. Cool truck.Looks like it has a wet kit on it.From Detroit,probably a Mich. Special (18 F,44 R).
  6. Mark, my '70 KW was a Greenstein truck also!Cool pictures!.Where was this Ed Kimball from,do you know? There is a guy by the same name in Wisconsin that has a beautiful B-75 (L model cab).......Al
  7. That truck belonged to Enterprise Ready-Mix (Meyer bought them in '88),O'Learys owned it then sold it to Scott Swanson (pictured-who actually started driving the truck when he was 18) He restored it.Took it to a few shows, then sold it to a farmer from Wisconsin. It was a '73 R685ST.

  11. Thanks, Mike. They are for a friend of mine who runs a 1990 RD690 with an EM-7 in it.
  12. I was told he passed on years ago.Are we talking about the same guy? Interesting?
  13. Love the M151A2's!! Our motor pool was full of new HUMVEE's in Feb.,1986 when I got out. But,that old shit always ran!!
  14. Mark, I think the green one belonged to Al Bieber.I remember it being in WOT.Was a decent truck, for sure. The other one,I feel the same way about it.I like 'em fairly stock, with a few upgrades. Most of us do make 'em look better than when they were new.I guess its just a habit, you know?!! Al
  15. Looking for a "Maxidyne" emblem for a late '80's-early '90's RD.PM me if you have one to sell.Thanks.
  16. I think he played for Detriot,if I'm not mistaken.
  17. I think that would be a different Olson Body Co.,Paul.That one would have made like the OLSON Curbmaster bread trucks & such, right? The one I was talking about is a truck body distributor in Green Bay,Wis(actually now called Olson Trailer & Body,LLC).They sell and service many different type of dump, flatbed, van, service, etc. truck bodies. Here is a picture of a new Granite quad axle, that they set up.
  18. If I found it,I would waive the $1000.00 finders fee,607t!
  19. The Circus World Museum of Baraboo,Wis. also has a Barnum & Bailey AC in their collection. They still use it along with an old Cat to pull displays around the lot and to help load the Circus Train!
  20. Happy Birthday,Vlad!!
  21. Remember all the "Special Commodities Div." there were? Man, every major freight carrier had them.Yes Jim,I believe Gene wanted everyone around him to make $$$ at the same time he did,you know? That's the way most of the old-timers were.It just makes for a healthy operation.
  22. They were all about light empty weights,Matt.I cut up a badly beaten former Celli B that was an LST version.Loaded with aluminum. Most of it had cracks in it,though!
  23. Mark, sounds like that outfit (Kenneth Levari & Sons),is indeed one of the class acts left.I'm afraid outfits like that are disappearing everyday, though. You can't beat fair and honest people, period! Al
