Did anyone on here buy this RW?
jryoung replied to RSD501's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
All I can tell is that it had 41 bids placed on it and it was sold in Dickinson, ND. You never can tell it could just be something minor wrong with it. I guess it is as casualty of low oil prices and a busted oil boom.- 5 replies

Of the 112 RWS768LST'S can you tell how many were built with a specific engine? -
Western Mack Build #'s
jryoung replied to Superdog's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
I would love to know how many were built like my 79 Superliner (RWS768LST). I was told this was a rare truck mine came with a Cummins KT-19 in it. -
I thought it sucked also. I stayed up to watch the release on facebook and now wished i had gone on to bed. They should have shown some real working trucks like the ones we all own who have 30 plus years on the job and still rolling coal. Those new Mack trucks are riding on the reputation of the trucks that built this counrty. Maybe one of these days some ad agency may get it right but I am not holding my breath.

She is still digging after replacing some solenoids and a good bath.

I have stuck them before but never this bad. It took two days to dig her out with another excavator.

Western R Macks
jryoung replied to farmer52's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
My 1979 Superliner was ordered and sold new to South Kentucky Mack in Somerset, KY according to the paper work I received with the truck when I bought it in 2010. That is a example of one west coast truck delivered new here in Kentucky. -
The last four years have sucked and the next four are going to really suck. I don't know how many small business owners like me will be around in four years.

square headlights in R models?
jryoung replied to krismoriah's topic in Exterior, Cab, Accessories and Detailing
A drilling company that I do some work for has a 1989 R model winch tractor that has 4 square headlights like my 1990 Superliner. This particular R model was built in Canada but I dont know the model #. -
