  1. Can't let it get too overgrown downstairs, looks bigger after you get out the weed eater .lol!
  2. Landscaping? I do manscaping is that close?
  3. Ok some subtle ones maybe....
  4. That would look great and you'd have a one of a kind truck with some old school style, every time I see a KW with the old school stripes it makes me smile and they are happy to keep it alive over at KW.
  5. Something I haven't seen in a long time is an old school Mack paint job adapted to a new truck. It would be pretty sweet to use one of the old Superliner paint schemes but adapt it to fit the newer body lines and it would have the added bonus of being a one of a kind truck. I look at the new trucks today and wonder where the style and sense of individuality went I would do it if I was getting a new one. Just think how many black trucks with red frames are out there heck there's 2 or 3 near me.
  6. Sweet, I'd love to have a truck like that to do little runs here and there, flatbed dump is really versatile. Is that a mulch driveway or a mulch yard?
  7. Its a good bet it will end up working out better in the end to have a Injection shop make them or get some from a Mack parts vendor. Injection line I.D. is very small its thick wall seamless steel pipe, they all need to be equal length as stated above, and the ends arent something youll have much luck flaring yourself(I havent) I would caution to get them done or buy them pre made since a bad line just leads to a blown line and fuel sprayed on a hot manifold and that leads to you crying in a ditch as you watch your baby burn to the ground. I just saw an E9 injection line with the end broken off earlier today it had about a 1/16" hole in the center of a line about 5/16" thick, the walls have to hold a lot of pressure and the wrong material will erode under pressure in the bends.
  8. I thought that was fishing and women? I have pics of the women(cant post em publicly), dirty women....mmmmm, what was I saying?
  9. Where the stuff located, might help get someone there.
  10. The gear on the pump slipping or a suction line restriction would explain the issue.
  11. Interesting, I was always told when you do a gear flip your changing it one whole gear so you would get your STD .73 od ratio one gear down and your top gear becomes .64-.62 that's where they get the double od from. I know a couple guys that have done the flip in 15's so they can still have a decent starting gear, rob is the only one I know with an 8LL flipped.i have tried to get an od back box for a while but nobody can find one, plenty of ud back boxes available from 8LL,13,15,18's floating around but not many left from rtoo14613's.
  12. Here's a teaser for the Rob Snyder video my truck is in I'll post a link to the video when its available.
  13. Wow I feel left out, mom wanted to go eat so we went to the chop house, ribeye, potato and baked cinnamon apples, was purty good tho.
  14. A lot of people end up buying compressors when a $40 unloader kit and a $20 governor is normally all that's needed.
  15. I hear ya Vinny, I just dont have a heavy enough girlfriend for ballast Im scared Ill tip over if I get one! Guess Ill stick to the centered cab trucks so Im a little farther away from the asphalt on the way over.
  16. Why? the *ll with the gear flip is in the KW dump above and the 15 speed was in my hands a few months ago and Im still thinking about buying it for the KW above, both an *ll and a 15 have under drive rear boxes and OD front boxes they are basically 9 speeds with UD back boxes to get the deep reduction the 8LL your only supposed to use in L the 15 has different gears and bearings for use of the Deep reduction in all low range gears, both are OD in 9th. Eaton says you cant do it but it used to be a fairly common practice to get more speed out of trucks without having to swap rears, the top gear wont pull for crap but its there for flat ground.
  17. ETECH is a unit pump engine with a common fuel raila dn a lift pump not a std fuel injection pump and lines but the econovance does cause issues in earlier E7 engines.
  18. centered cab set forward axle, steel or fiberglass hood is and R, long hood R is and RL, long wide hood is an RW long steel hood is an RD800, steel hood set back axle (most) all wheel drive RM, set back axle center cab fiberglass hood RB, offset cab set forward axle short fiberglass hood light duty is a U, offset cab short hood set forward axle heavy duty is a DM, longer fiberglass hood slightly setback axle offset cab is later model DM, offset cab long steel hood heavy duty is a DM800, tall short fiberglass hood high mounted offset cab set back axle or dual steer axle in std or all wheel drive would be a DMM, tall short fiberglass hood high mounted offset cab tandem steer all wheel drive heavy duty would be a DMMEX. I think I got most of em theres still the RS and then the RWS and RWL etc........
  19. Most Turbo drain lines go straight to a return passage in the block and straight to the pan and most of them are at least .5"id, you owuld be amased what will get thru.
  20. NICER? Shoot I'll take that ol K Whopper if your not interested those old A models are sweet trucks. I always thought the ultimate collection would be an E9 Superliner, 3408 W900A ext. hood, KT600 359 ext. Hood, 8V92 GMC General and a Big Cam Dodge Big Horn.
  21. For that one try john chalmers @ 717-334-8709 says mack engine parts from 1936-1965. Also southeastern equipment @706-798-7500 they do 707 and 673 parts if they can't get 672 they know who can.
  22. Definitely check your ecm harness the plug near the pump has issues with loose pins, you can replace them or just bypass the connector with a jumper wire, you can look for signs of a hot wire most have at least one. The stealth brake exhaust solenoid was an issue but that doesn't sound like this one. Definitely check the codes in the ecm and if you have low coolant it WILL derate the engine and shut it down, fix that first if you know there's an issue and you can go from there.
  23. Wasn't done, you mention connections cleaned just cleaning may not turn up a loose pin in a connector pull the wire loom back and look for signs of a hot wire on the back side of the plugs. Staxx probably has some good ideas where to start on this one too.
  24. Sounds like a fuel issue other than the smoke that makes me think electrical have you checked the connectors on the ecm and looked the harness over for burned or rubbed spots.
  25. The ai370 and t310 with 4.64 gears works great here in tn, in an 05 granite buy the factory boost guage it fits right in the dash and just plugs in then you have mack activate the boost guage in the ecm and your done and its all factory. I put the boost, suspension press guage in my 04 its very easy yo take the guage cluster loose lean it out and pop the halves apart and the guage just plugs right in. You definitely need any available updates for the ecm after I got all of them done on mine and argued with the guys in pa they sent a new program for my ecm and the truck out pulled an ai460 on a long hill that afternoon. There is an o ring in the intake manifold adapter that goes bad and leaks boost start the truck and idle it up to about 1000-1200 rpm and use a spray bottle to spray water/ dish soap mix onto all of the charge air connections you'll get bubbles at a leak. Id bet on a combo of ecm updates and boost leak repairs will fix it.
