Oh yeah it will be very expensive to swap too, then you will more than likely have to tow it to Mack to have the ecm reprogrammed to run with a manual. I don't know if it will run or not once you remove the inputs from the tcm, at best it will be in limp mode until its flashed at Mack. Best option if you really dislike it is to trade for one you do, you can't just swap parts around on newer trucks like you could non electronics.

Yeah making the swap to an 8LL with a 375 aset it will be a turd for sure. Take it to have the trans programmed for performance if it doesn't already have it in the mode button. Most are setup with performance and economy shifting, one will be the default and the other is activated by pushing the mode button, but facts are an 06, 375 is a turd.

Again if you rebuild the heads let dale francis press the seats, I wouldnt give much for em since I would just have to get em and take em back apart and do it again if that wasn't done. No point in not doing it right you the first time. Why don't you offer em for sale as they are first, then whoever gets em can rebuild them to their specs?

Woops, dds, that looks like the stock 5.5" speaker in the older r western cabs had a different grille than yours.

well yeah that would make it a limiting valve if its got air in everything but low and reverse, I dont know how that works, seems it would be the other way around in my mind, oh well I always give em all the fuel they can get all the time anyway. I got no puff limiter, and the governor is turned up about 4 turns, of course they say turn it a half a turn and try it to keep the egt's low but I go about 1-2 turns then try it myself, makes it fun if you have someone driving in a diesel pickup trying to blow smoke and you can bump it thru a couple gears leaving a light then skip a couple and get the rpm down to about idle and just lay on the throttle, most of the time it will make automatic headlights come on behind me!

Yeah the Dark Sable one is my Male, hes smaller than my female but his dad came from a kennel that breeds military dogs and his mom came from one that breeds police dogs both overseas, he can be pretty intense sometimes, the blk and tan is my female shes 15 mos old now and around 80lbs. I had a friend my dogs know well come over when I was gone, they let him in the gate and were fine, then he popped the hood latch on my truck and they started getting a bit upset, he said he backed up a couple feet from my truck and they were fine again but he went on and left anyway, figured he should come back when I was here just to be safe.

Um most trailer stores either have em or will order em cheaper than a machine shop will make em, I bought a new one for a trialer at Pinnacle trailer sales and it was only $450 installed, thats cutting the old one out and welding the new one in and replacing the apron plate.

I never have seen one but I was told they were on the first maxidynes also, my 84 had a chrome base gold dog, so did the others I have driven.

My trucks have not had the valve you speak of I say remove it and thats one les air leak in the future, if you flat foot it in low or reverse under a load you dont need to be driving anyway.

Ha puff eliminator, well since I remove those pesky air leakers I guess I wouldn't know about that air line. Good tip, find an 1/8" pipe plug and put it where the off limiter was.
