  1. you need more land, then they would never find the body!
  2. If you think that the new Mack engines cant make any power just look at what a couple of modifications and a laptop can do to a day cab pinnacle, it makes over 700hp.
  3. I figured some of you may not have seen this its a pretty good video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvkMXWJEAWc&playnext=1&list=PLLn5bgRg2hKSTEJYmdqgRhJKw7TDUUCXU&feature=results_video
  4. I couldnt see where in TN they were but the logo is the shape of the state if I knew Id try to get you some pics up close Vinny, and Jumper.
  5. I have done that in an E9 powered Superliner (not because I wanted too) if you look its on camelback and the fifth wheel is back behind the centerbeam so the weight of the trailer is pushing down on the rear of the frame lifting the front using the centerbeam as a fulcrum. Its still cool looking but now you all know how to do it, I did it on accident hauling a 20' container loaded with marble, it was freakin heavy and the older 20' chassis would get into your mudflaps if you didnt slide the fifth wheel way back so I learned that day just how far you can slide it and stay on the ground.
  6. if "you" make 250k you need to change your pay, my business made plenty but "I" made a salary of 50k and the rest was the business so I paid my taxes on my 50 not the gross if your paying out of your account you got it wrong.
  7. AND THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO TRUCKING! We will train any idiot to drive a truck and you dont even have to know how to shift a transmission. I have a friend that runs a few trucks, he hired a driver a few months back that said he could drive anything, when they got into the truck (tri-axle granite dump with an 8ll) to go to the crusher the first day he said "its not an automatic!" needless to say he lasted about 2 weeks, hes gone.
  8. trtxl1070 all the way can be a 1070 or a 1070b the only difference is the deep reduction shifter, manual on the 1070, air switch on the 1070b. As to the other, just damn!
  9. There were two types of shells one was high explosive and the other was a concrete penetrator(solid) the high explosive shell was equivalent to about a ton of tnt but the guns were so hard to aim they almost never hit their intended target, the concrete penetrators were supposed to get into the allied bunkers but none ever hit one. I still like the fact that the A-10 thunderbolt II has a 30mm GE cannon that fired 6690gn depleted uranium API rounds at about 3600fps + the speed of the plane and one aircraft can rain devastation like a whole ww2 conbat airwing, it can carry more payload into the air than a B17. I can say this when they fire that cannon whatever is in the way, goes away and we liked it overseas. not to mention the AC 130U, that thing is just nasty, it can level a whole town and still have enough ammo and fuel on board to cover the ground forces during an assault after. Thats my line up if I ever neede and could ask for whatever I wanted for air support, two A-10's and an AC130U, theres not much that they cant do together.
  10. The medical and the retirement are the only real reasons I wanted to work for the Railroad my health insurance is 198/mo and I had hernia surgery all the pre surgery visits and the checkup only cost me $60 for everything, the retirement pays out over double social security but we pay in 11% instead of the ss 7%. I will quit and be cruising the Superliner within a week of them telling me either is going to be taken away and Paul Ryan is tring to get our retirement now and put us at the equivalent payout of social security but increase our pay in to 13%, mo___r fu__ers!
  11. I dont recall any holes in the barrel and it would slow the projectile and eliminate the idea of the long barrel slow burn using the length to slowly build speed every hole would vent combustion gas and if you dont have gases expanding behind the projectile you cant get it out of the barrel.
  12. Oh and after insurance, union dues and retirement Ive only cleared $50200 for $75000 income that just sucks!
  13. I guess I might have to sell my Superliner and my pickup truck just to cover the difference in my income after this tax hike were looking at,Im single no kids and have made $75000 as of11/23 and paid in $20500 in taxes, if the numbers are right my taxes will go up $3000 a year I dont think I cant keep paying this crap I would be better off to quit my job and get on the govt check at the end of the year. I dont know if everybody else has been watching this and done the math but it four in what they call the upper middle class you will end up paying about 1/3 of your income in taxes, its freaking ridiculous.
  14. Vinny, you got a lot of growing before you want to mess with a girl like that, theyll scar you for life, me I'm already so messed up it doesn't matter anymore there's no hope for me.
  15. I remember the stink about the Iraqi guns and about 75% of people thought he got what he deserved when he got killed, I still think it was Massad that got him and I cant blame them if they had gotten the big gun ready and gat it mounted in a chassis that they could aim it would have been pretty nasty for the first few rounds till the barrel was shot out. I think I remember reading that he used a slower burning powder and a longer barrel to bring the shells up to speed relatively slowly when compared to the big German guns that had short barrels and basically killed themselves when fired, he was going to supposedly get about 3 times the barrel life by using a charge that used the whole barrel. If you really think on it I do the same thing with my 308 loads I try to ge them to burn all the powder inside the length of the barrrel but not burn so fast and hot it erodes the barrel throat(I use Benchmark powder it works pretty good).
  16. yeah stone guards, some manufactureres call them rock chip guards, belmor used to make them for Macks but I havent seen any in a while.
  17. I got an 85 SUperliner with an E9 in it, whats it worth in Australia, maybe its worth shipping!then again I guess since I already turned down 30 for mine I better keep it for a while.
  18. Thats why I prefer a lease to a purchase! and I get to trade up to the next newer model when they are available!!!!!! I wont say how old the one I was talking to the other day was, lets just say it made me feel dirty, and awesome at the same time!
  19. p.s. those things you guys are staring at above arent cheap!
  20. Or were you talkin to my ex,ex, she was nice but needy, really needy!
  21. you been talkin to my ex vinny? I will warn you she can be pretty difficult, and mean!
  22. for big guns look up Gerald Bull, he was the man behind the HARP gun and built(or was building) the largest gun ever constructed for Saddam Hussein until he was killed by 5 bullets in the back of the head, i think it was called project babylon or babylon gun or something like that.
  23. Timing sensor, one on the pump one on the engine, one goes out the pump can't advanced properly.
  24. I actually just remembered the 29 had featherable props but the 50 had the Curtis reversible pitch prop, the only 29's windows h these were the 509th planes used in the pacific as I recall. I have a pic of a 50 with those tracks on the rear I think it said they were being tested for soft field use at full weight but generated too much drag to be feasible. I remember looking at the original rear gear for the b36 at Dayton and thinking there was no was the gear could lift that single huge tire, apparently they were so heavy on the original single rear tire they cracked concrete runways so they went with a redesigned 4 tire pre side rear gear that distributed the weight better. I could get into this thread like you have no idea so ill stop there, I leave with this, my favorite flight of all time was my first combat takeoff and landing in a c130, 45 degrees up and 45 degrees down.
  25. The b50 was also upgraded with variable pitch props.
