  1. there were 4 r model door shells on ebay i looked for mack ro model and mack superliner and they came up both times.
  2. I was looking around on ebay and typed in Mack gaskets and all of the sudden there are tons of Mack oem head gaskets on there, I have seen a couple before but there are several so if anyone is in need check it out. Oh and there are no E9 gaskets sorry Iooked (i would have bought them if there were)
  3. It reminds me of a local BCR that was a nice truck, I cant remember what years they did those rebuilds or kits though, hell most people dont even know what a BCR is.
  4. And you never will just stop tryin!
  5. Woops, sorry I didnt get back with you I am busy with my new house and the Superliner, I got my cab suspension fixed up yesterday and looked into my charging issues. I bought it at Oreilly's auto parts they had it in a book and got it for me next day I didnt even think about you not having one near you.
  6. I have purchased that stuff in a roll from Oreillys before, it wasnt very expensive if I remember right it was like $65 a roll and the lock strip roll was $30 then you just cut what you need.
  7. Advanced is too high and hard to deal with now they have gotten pretty uppitty over the last few years, I would be intersted in a 18"or20" boxed end square, wide step hole (factory size) 4" down from the top, drilled for a tag holder above the step hole, no light or tow pin holes for an 85 Superliner II, its the same truck as in this thread. call or email me 615-631-1775 rsb502@gmail.com thanks.
  8. I have one of those bumpers outside......... but its gonna stay there for now. I have thought about an 18" boxed end square for mine no lights just clean square bumper, I may and I may not I have the bumper p/n in a box somewhere. I do need a rubber boot for my able body sleeper (small hole) I have no idea where to even start looking any ideas? I did find out you can get the y pipe for an E9 dual exhaust from grand rock for about $300 as opposed to $1300 from Mack it makes the rest of the stuff a little easier to swallow.
  9. ARP probably does actually they make a lot more than whats advertised in Summit Racing, they probably wont be sold as Mack replacement studs but they probably have the right length and thread and if not they will make them for you for not much more than their off the shelf studs and bolts.
  10. come on now let it go!

  12. Where is this truck going to be used? what size bed? what kind of work, are you all about payload or all about heavy rock? Would you want one like this? 04 CV713 AI427(more like 487) 310M,18front 44 rear 20 tag 16 ft OX Hardox body, 11R24.5 rear 425/22.5 floats 11R22.5 tag, all aluminums light weight 26200.

  17. That looks like an old Union Pacific truck, however they were yellow UP had a bunch of superliners almost all tractors several with cranes just like that.
  18. You guys all missed out on the very obvious bonus to this truck ............"I got it for my WIFE" if you bought it for your wife surely she couldnt get mad at you for buying another truck to add to your collection, and you could add that you loved her so much you wanted her to share in your hobby knowing she probably wouldnt and you get another truck. HA!
  19. I have tried to explain that Mack axles were not built by Mack but by Meritor to a Mack design and Mack specs but I have been told "your crazy Mack has always built their own axles" well guess what THEY DONT ANYMORE and here is another who knows the gruesome truth.
  20. I have always wanted the get my hands on one of the Mack script logos from the side of the hood on the m series, they were about double the size of an r series. I notice that Mack logo on the front of the hood is an early style later ones actually spell out M-A-C-K like on the road trucks.
  21. Bug spray,a long stick and good boots, it be snake time in TN.
  22. HE SPEAKS! I would try whatever staxx says if anybody I know has had to trouble shoot that issues its him, how many years at Mack now staxx?
