Im gonna try to go get with the owner about picking over a couple old R models that are rusting away in pieces Ill see if its going to be for sale, bring a weedeater and some wasp spray when you come. I just happen to know where there is a RD,RS700L, M35 and 2 DM's all hiding in the woods and last time I checked they wouldnt sell. the RS has the v8, makes me sad!

I have a friend that was out looking for old trucks today and he sent me a pic of an old c model in the weeds nobody was home to try to get sale info we will try again its in central TN near hillsboro TN.

I am looking for some R / superliner parts I live in TN but I can pay for shipping let me know if you have the time to look for a crossmember,carrier bearing bracket, top panel for an r model dash (gray) looking for a set od crd92/92 rears in 3.86 or 4.17 also. thanks, Ryan B.

MH RV with a messed up twist

with bad eyesight and broken glasses. I have attatched a pic of the supposed long hood Volvo, I saw a few in Iraq I had to get a pic they were just weird its the cabover cab and parts of the side skirt with a short little 2 foot long hood.

I always wondered why they never offered a CH set forward with heavy axles, I know several people including myself that tried to get a dump truck spec set forward CH (double frame, 18k or 20k front,44 camelback rears) and Mack here in Nashville wouldnt even try to help they just said the factory wont build it. I and Im sure several other would probably have had one if they built it, instead everybody here seemed to go to Freightliner for heir set forward hood fix with the short hood classic's.

I know several people will say block the line off and I have before, but i would like to set my puff limiter to the correct spec, does anyone have the spec for the air cylinder extension and the ple dimension to get the correct number of shims? I have three E9 manuals and none of mine have it, one says to read Master manual page6- 100.10 for the info, thanks in advance.

TN is no cdl for antique, farm or personal vehicle you only need a cdl for hire.

WANT TO BUY OR TRADE 4:17 rears possible trade for 4:64's?

I have a set of CRD92/93 rears with 4:64 gears, auto power divider and taper mount torque arms, I would like to swap to 3:86 or 4:17 if anyone has any let me know I can buy or trade the rears I have are good just too steep for cruisin to a truck show. -

with an 18 speed low range overdrive trans you cant get enough gear ratio? I dont know but I never used all the gears in my old 12 speed .

superliner sleeper truck

I agree its rusty but a Superliner sleeper truck with air ride and a decent wheelbase is a rarety, I would probably have gone to look at it if I hadnt just bought one with an E9. I would rather run an E6/E7 if I was going to work it especially with a dump trailer the daycab E9 truck I had weighted 19,200, makes it hard to haul tonnage when your truck weighs almost double what the trailer does I bet an E6 truck would be more like ! 15000 to 17000 depending on axles,trans,etc. -
VMAC 1 is the software that runs the electronic bosch pump on your E7 that was the first to have an ecm/ecu. The etec/aset engines are the ones with Unit Pumps.

sounds like vgt issues for sure, the swollen hose to the egr cooler doesnt sound good either, check for bubbles in the coolant with the cap off when revving the engine and excessive coolant system pressure you may have a bad tube in the cooler pressurizing the coolant system with boost pressure.

I cant believe that there isnt more talk of how a modern truck would have folded like a pretzel but the vehicles in this pic arent, they are made from real steel back then they were probably riveted together, the bus body is probably 1/4" plate steel riveted together with cast channel iron as bracing.

put a high volume oil pump in an E7 and the (jacobs brand)Engine brake works about a third better its well worth it if you ever have the pan off, I got the oil pump from PAI. -
I feel your pain everything rubber on the one I just got is dryrotted tires included, I wont even drive it on em, I have the oil in hte exhaust to deal with, the interior is in decent shape it needs a carpet but they had already bought it so its in the sleeper waiting for me to put in, there are wiring issues and scotchlocks everywhere so I get to redo that and the top of the dash is busted, got to find that piece, I have all new hood bushings and rubbers to fix the hood sag and rub now I have to repair the damage to the hood from the rub centerbeam bushings, air lines,etc. I wanted a project and an old truck is a never ending one.
