    You came to Whitwell and didn't call, I'm starting to thing you don't love me anymore! Is it because your ashamed of the V___o, I know its tough but I would have let up sooner or later. And Whitwell is a hole in the hole in the wall, been there loading containers with pickups and construction equipment bound for the middle east. That pic with yet another E9 sure looks like a familiar place off of I40.

    If that works on a Mack i say go for it, the detroits we had a company I used to work for had the gear ratio programmed in the ecm and if the road speed vs rpm didnt add up to within a certain tolerance it would pop a code and go into limp if anti tamper was turned on.

    I doubt they will have the same load rating either, don't know how much you load your truck but it may be a better idea to use them as trading material to get the right size.

    I couldn't even get the housing and bulb into my buckets, I didn't even have the plug on the back of the light yet. Looked like I needed about 3/8-1/2" to fit it all in, without the plug it only lacked about an 1/8" of seating all the way.

    Huh, ok so I guess what you want is to go fast but not have the speedo say your going fast? I still dont really know what your looking for here, the max speed is set in the ecm and if it has the anti tamper on if you mess witht he speed sensor it will go into limp mode.

    I just tried to swap mine out for a set that took 9007 bulbs but they were too deep and im too anal to cut out the back of the buckets. They ,make some buckets that use an H3 bulb that should fit since the back is flat, I have used them before on another truck but I havent tried em on the RW yet. The 9007 lights were from United Pacific and I wanted them because they are actually glass, the ones that take the H3 bulbs are plastic and you can get them from Summit, Jegs or Ebay, just search for H4656 replacement headlight.

    Thanks for the replys, I have a couple RD's and a CL in my sights, theres also a possibility of a new Granite but its a slim possibility, $170,000 has me nervous.

    I pulled containers for a year and those little 20 footers are top heavy as shit when they load em heavy, we used to deliver slabs of marble in em and they always made me nervous in the corners.

    Yep, right side towards the air compressor, its probably black or rusty and itll blend in for sure, Mack has never been good at making easily visible oil dipsticks.

    Its kindof like the secind pattern there but on top there are 4 gear positionsstarting from the left it goes forward far left R and R lo, out and back forward to the right of R is 1 and 1lo, back to 2 and 2lo, then forward and next to 1 is 3, back to 4 forward next to 3 is 5 and back to 6. I have driven every kind of truck and transmission there was out there or so i thought until I saw this one, never seen one like it. guess it would be Lo-1-2 HI-1-2-3-4-5-6, just never seen one and I cant read the pattern but looking at others and doing the guessing game thats what I come up with.

    there are p/n's for both t bolt style and pin on style for the new straps, jsut measure your length and get the corresponding strap style, (t bolt both ends or t bolt one end) and you should be golden.

    Most of the stainless CH,Vision, Pinnacle, granite straps have brackets welded to them, some have them riveted but I rarely see that version. The newer stainless straps have a better connection where the t bolt fits in the end of the strap too.
