  1. Nothing like a shiny Superliner.
  2. Its no wonder why we don't have any older Cat loaders down south, you damn Yankees took em all up north.
  3. Nope, there's only one truck built for dump trucking, its a Mack.
  4. She looks expensive, I can't pay much, think shell trade for "other" services?
  5. Why are all the cool things so far away from me, I like toys dammit.
  6. Yeah the tailgate and rear springs from a pickup to make a bench is a pretty neat idea. (Hmmm, wonder if I could bend a camelback spring.....)
  7. Well you know he has at least two turbos on it then, 700 to the wheels from an E6 is gettin it pretty good.
  8. I sure would like to know more about that E6 powered truck Albert, it had a lot fo turbo for sure to listen to it.
  9. Damn you guys are sure coming thru for fleet friday, im slipping I cant upload anything from my phone right now so its hell to take a picture, email it to myself then save it to my computer and then upload, geez.
  10. I have seen cabs on dump trucks crushed, covered in asphalt and pelted with rocks, but to crush a cab 25 feet off the ground is a new one for me, damn good cylinder though.
  11. What, no right trun ahead?
  12. Pasty white with freckles? Lol
  13. 6 is gear set, 14= 1400# tq rating, 6= gear set, 15= 15 speed.
  14. The B model Cat engines are great, I'm just not into them over a Mack E6-E7, now if I was going for a KW or Freightliner sure I'd consider a Cat every time.

  16. Whew, that one may be a little too rough, it would need a new body to haul sand and asphalt, no a/c in TN would suck and a CAT, really? I have no idea why someone would build a Mack with a CAT engine, and when did they come up with that speedo, i have never seen one of those before.
  17. I was thinking a tandem R model with about a 78 passenger Blue Bird body, Go Big or Go Home!
  18. Looks purty decent with a dump trailer behind it huh? That was pre stretch so if I put that 26' trailer back there now i actually have more distance between the steer and rear drive than the drives and trailer tandems, lol. I would need at least a 30' to 34' to make it look right, maybe a 38' but theres just not that much to do with em locally and stay home.
  19. So as a truck driver your supposed to kow your height, weight etc and watch for clearance and weght restrictions......but as a house moving company you just wing it with Garmin and eyeball the height! ok sounds about right to me.
  20. Learning can be Fun!
  21. Just Damn, I bet a set of batteries some fuel and filters and she woulda run.
  22. I just threw anything with a dump bed in there, im missing so many pictures of mack tri axles Ive driven it makes me sad, I had a killer looking 2000 RD, all aluminum wheels, plenty of chrome and lights, it was one of the nicest trucks Ive ever driven and no pics, damn.
  23. How bout drawings of Mack dump trucks? and a KW and a Freightliner..........
  24. I got some pics for this thread........
  25. Well folks Im back in the Dump truckin mood and I wanna do it in style so im looking for a Superliner tri or quad axle, a little work needed is ok but I dont want to have to rebuild the whole truck. I would prefer a Mack drivetrain, engine, trans and rears but im not opposed to Cummins and eaton, need decent axles 18+ steer 44+ rears air ride cab would be a big bonus. Well Im looking so lets see what ya got, I may, I repeat may, itll be a toughy but may trade the 85 if I find the right truck. I may also be interested in R or RD tri axles or Quads, same specs, I have no use for a tandem whatsoever unless its rock bottom cheap and anything over 52 rears is wasted here also, Ideally 18 steer 44 rears on an RW with an E7 350 or 400 with a Mack trtxl 1070 or 18 speed with a 16-18' lightweight body but im open to other combos.
