  1. Ha, I just found it, wish I knew about them several years ago, they offer two models the Ss120 is good to 16,000# the other to 22,000#. I'm looking at the SS120 and a 14,600 steer axle, the steer tag I got is a heavy ass Watson chalin that's been butchered to remount before.
  2. Fuel cost should go down with more HP and the same displacement if you drive it right. I would go with the 445C just because its cheaper and has the same torque and you can get it with an Allison. If they offered the 505C with an Allison I'd do that, everything is the same on those engines except tuning so its not hard to turn up.
  3. Couldn't even type that with a straight face,lol!
  4. Ok, you were in Hermitage TN and didn't call? I'm starting to think you don't love me anymore!
  5. Ha, maybe another negotiating tool is in order, took two days of filming for this one but all in all it went pretty quick.
  6. "Sweetypie", isn't that Mike Harbison Sr's handle?
  7. I prefer Milky Way Dark if were negotiating.
  8. Well it was fun to do, thanks for the props and no I didn't buy anything else for it......yet. I guess since its a movie truck now its worth about a hundred grand now right?
  9. Yeah, waaay over priced
  10. I would swap it out to hub piloted front wheels and run either 385 or 425 floats if it was me, even running 12R24.5's would be better because its so much nicer to just pull the wheel to do a brake job.
  11. IM there where is everybody else?
  12. Mack Trucks Canada? I thought those were Mack Western pins, I have one somewhere.
  13. Seems like i remember talking to another ATHS member at a show years ago about the early yard spotter trucks being built from single axle cab over chassis from a couple different manufacturers, i think it was a kit available from one of the early spotter truck makers so companies could use their old trucks once they took them off the highway. im trying to find info on it but im coming up with nothin so far.
  14. Uh , yeah, nobody else gets to drive my baby like that, actually very few people get to drive it period! Any of the shots running to or from the truck or in the truck its me wearing a go pro.

    Why ?

How the hell is he getting 4mpg, my old CH midroof with 3.86 rears and lowpros still gets 6.8 with its new owner. I checked the mileage on the RW on my last show trip, mind you I was bobtailing but I got 14mpg, not bad for a 998cu in V8 from 1985.
  17. those JCB backhoes are weird machines, up armored ones are heavy as hell, like 32,000# they run fast and have a really long front boom, something like 60mph and have an ISB Cummins for power, I have pics on my other computer but its kinda not cooperating right now.
  18. HOLY FCUKNIG FREJOLES!, ok im ordering all the Superliner and R stuff including the opening doors and dash, seats, steering column, damn I never should have asked here goes another couple grand I dont need to spend. go to shapeways.com and search for Mack
  19. Hmm, makes me wonder when I see three consecutive serial #s for sale.http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/4302001007.html
  20. hard to tell from those pics with nothing for scale but it looks like an M35 with forward mounted ladders like an M50 to me, its not an m45 the 45 was a tandem axle and its small and has the wrong headlights to be a 50 i think(missing a step too). Of course they changed a little over the years so it may be either an early or late 50 since the size is close (again without scale).
  21. Removing your hat indoors unless on duty is a rule in some areas.
  22. ok send me some contact info for the guy you got that from IM dying here!
  23. The Eaton is definitely more forgiving, you can beat the crap out of them and they slop artound and keep going but when you apply a serious load they break before a Mack trans. I dont mind either, I have an Eaton in the truck I have now but given my choice knowing I am the only driver I would go Mack, being a company truck, eaton or allison every time.
  24. http://springvalleymfg.com/products/self_steering/ss120.php here ya go folks, enjoy.
