  2. Both sides meaning what, there are 4 inlet/ outlets, intake air, charge air, exhaust inlet, exhaust outlet.
  3. Ha! Gloria, lol
  4. I called dibs back on my last post, go see for yourself! Lol
  5. They make an underhood material, get on their website.
  6. Nice trucks for the job, looks like they were set up right.
  7. They can't keep an mdrive together on the highway, they would need a lot of work to use off road. Has anybody here ever had to slip a clutch in a dump truck to go super slow? You can't with an automated manual, the Allison's torque converter let's you creep.
  8. I bought them from Mack, they still have them in stock at the warehouses any dealer can get them, Watts has them in stock.
  9. I saw those trucks in Nashville at Rogers when they were getting bodies, heavy trucks for sure. The Allison is way up and above better than he mdrive for off road applications, there are m drives being replaced already in on road apps. That 0 thrust tolerance single shaft automated manual transmission would go to pieces hauling heavy off road.
  10. Better you guys than me, Im just not into the winter Im cold when it gets below 70 degrees. I don't think that stint over yonder helped any either, left it was 138 got home and the a/c was on in the house, set at 75 I was freezing. P.s. I got dibs on the girl vision is gonna post!
  11. If only you could run like you did 20 years ago!
  12. Sounds like Mike and Dig could use some of that OD apple pie shine. I bet OD would deliver if he got bored!
  13. Damn nice job, looks great maybe one of these days Ill get mine painted until then I have to live thru the other BMT guys lucky enough to get it done.
  14. I fought and tried to drive a dump truck with bursitis for a couple weeks and it finally put me down, I couldn't get in the truck, wen to the doc, got it drained, antibiotics, etc. I haven't had a flare up in a few years and Im glad that sucks. Take it easy on the leg Mike, no need to overdo things and have surgery.
  15. That freight shaker was at Mid America a few years ago, it was all polished stainless. I think I have some pics here somewhere, I'll have to scan em in if I can find em.
  16. Dunno bout PA but in TN an Antique tag is or weekend and show or club trip use only, my insurance is $360/year and is good for me pulling my stuff to and from show's, the shop, club meetings, etc. You cannot use a truck with antique tags for hire so you can't haul someone else's stuff for money but you can haul your own vehicles/equipment. I checked into this here last year to make sure I would be legal in PA, they said it was pretty much the same as TN.
  17. Some things get better with age!
  18. So that B wrecker has a tilt wheel column from a Chevy or GMC, anybody else notice that? Freakin awesome trucks, I'd hate to think how much time has gone into those trucks, even though it was well worth it.
  19. Most of them Winfall women would call it stalking!
  20. The Superliner did the same thing till I swapped out the stereo, hasn't done it since.
  21. I just looked at a spring ride 46 with a cast housing a week ago in a new Granite, the same dealership had fabricated housings on air ride with 200 series carriers as 46 a couple years ago.

    Trucker's GPS

Ha, that's what im talking about, I don't even have 2014 Im still running on 2012! I have a gps ut its a Garmin for a car and rarely use it, lately its been my speedometer in the Superliner since my speedo is way off going from 4.64 to 3.65 rears.
  23. look up dynamat online, you can get it from several places, its a little different than the roofing material but close, http://www.dynamat.com/products_intro.html I have used it on a couple trucks and it works great, you have to do the firewall and floor for engine and road noise and the back wall and roof for exhaust noise. I used two layers of the Dynamat extreme in the past but now they have the dynaliner, I plan to put one layer of dynamat extreme then a layer of 1/4" dynaliner on the floor and firewall and the ceiling and back wall will get a layer of dynamat extreme and the ceiling will get a 1/2" dynaliner. It aint cheap but it works freakin great and it stops the rattles and squeeks too.
  24. if the stops aren't touching there is a mechanical issue in the steering gear although not necessarily in the box, the front end( tie rod, drag link) may be way out of adjustment, does the truck pull to one side on the road? count the turns from center to one side, then the same for the other if they aren't the same something isn't centered or is not turning all the way. Some people crank on the drag link to center the steering wheel even though its out far enough to move the pitman arm or steering shaft when installing new parts, then the box hits the internal stop and the mis adjusted drag link stops the axle from turning all the way.
  25. You'd never like a Superliner, my hoods about 5' wide and 6' long and the steers are 6' in front of my seat. I like it!
