  1. A shop Rite parking lot is a college campus? neat campus.
  2. what about your tag axle? or are you just running a tandem? whats the total gross weight? steer axle rating 20k?
  3. So a guy was carrying a gun in a shop rite parking lot, whats against the law about that? and why did they even search his vehicle or home, who cares what he had, he wasn't breaking any laws was he? just walking around with a gun is not a crime, at least not in most states. I carry a gun almost constantly, I have a valid carry permit so I carry loaded and most times concealed to keep annoying liberal asswipes from making my life any more annoying by asking me why I carry a gun. I ask this,"do you have a spare tire in your car? they say "well yes but its not a gun" I say" are you planning to have a flat tire today" they say "no but if I do I have a spare" I say " Im not planning on being robbed or assaulted but I have a weapon to defend myself and my property if I am" I get awefully annoyed by all this anti gun crap, why is it such a bad thing? the towns and states with the highest gun ownership per capita and open carry laws have the lowest crime rate! huh, I wonder why that is? I just don't think they even comprehend the fact that I someone is willing to commit a capitol offense such as murder a lesser offense carrying a weapon illegally wont bother them in the least. I actually boycott any place of business that has no guns allowed posted, I will not support their business and if they cant see the stupidity in telling those that would do harm to others that they don't have anyone inside to defend themselves, fuck em.
  4. send it to Grand Rock and they will make a pattern and make them for anybody, they probably already have it actually, the RW V8 Y pipe was only $500 from them new, the Mack version was unobtanium.

    New engine

That Engine is so big it took three Macks to haul it, woulda been 5 KW's.
  6. Got a pic of the valve the air is coming from?
  7. Its only got a few parts, four air bags, a 6 lines and maybe two or three valves depending on arrangement, you have a valve to operate it swapping the supply air from the regulator from the up bags to the down bags and bleeding the up bags at the same time, if its not a bad air bag and it is actually coming from the valve it is a spool inside an aluminum valve, the spool moves back and forth inside the valve body porting regulated air from one side to the other and venting the other, sounds like bad o rings in the valve to me. they are std. o rings if its the same valve as in a Watson Chalin axle and easy to get out of most good o-ring kits. I haven't ever seen an Eaton tag axle but that doesn't mean much, I guess eaton makes axle tubes for tag axle assemblies but I didn't know they made the valving and brackets for any of them, Hendrickson, Neway and Watson Chalin are the top three.
  8. And lots of Mack HP!
  9. that's how the three stick kw was done, I actually made a bracket to use a push pull air valve froma dump truck tag axle/tailgate to shift from under the floor but I never have installed one yet, I kinda lost interest after everybody else did it. That's kinda what happened to me with chicken lights, I used to love em I don't know how many I had on the 04 Granite I had, lots but now everybody has em so I am going low key with the 85.
  10. tried to search it and got nada, got nothing on mine either though so I don't know, maybe the great federal web site is screwed up
  11. Ha, his DOT number is 5047? Mines 1505389, I was a little behind I guess, LOL, of course I have seen em way above mine lately so I guess in 10 more years mine will be a couple digits short for new guys.
  12. I am not a huge fan of the A/C in the R series either, a CH or newer wide cab Mack does a better job, however when I put two layers of dynamat throughout the cab and a layer of heat shield under the cab on my 84 Superliner I had to turn it down, it makes a HUGE difference, all the radiant heat from the engine, transmission and exhaust kills those trucks and there's not much in the roof and walls to keep the heat out either. Im planning on using Dynamat xtreme throughout the cab interior, then adding 1/8" or 1/4" dynaliner to the floor and firewall and 1/2" dynaliner to the roof, then use Hoodliner under the cab and possibly on the firewall. I checked out an install of the dynaliner at a body shop in town and it is awesome. I only had dynamat to choose from when I did my last RW so I put two layers on the firewall, floor and roof and one layer everywhere else, then got the high heat foil insulation under the cab. I can tell you it made a ridiculous difference in sound too, before I did the install it was hard to hear on a phone and others could hear background noise, after I could set it on the dash on speaker and nobody heard squat.
  13. Here's a pic of my interior Pawel, the Am/FM radio is above the steering wheel in the headliner, the CB mounts on the dash.
  14. Yep its a 13 speed, I got a couple emails and texts when that video came out asking me to do it to another truck. I like his showmanship, popping it out of gear every time he splits the gears makes it look like work.
  15. Mike Ryan, this year it had a freakin huge blower on too. He's Staxx long lost brother in HP.
  16. Gotta love this one, the sound is awesome....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol7StdtHEMc same truck....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6UsiSoddWQ
  17. Guess what transmission this is........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lEYaTvvq4g
  18. You can add the stick for deep reduction but your question was fr the splitter and no I don't think you can add a stick to shift from low to high in each gear, the shifter also shifts neutral/reverse and all is done with air shift in one cover.
  19. Another Mack back to work, looks like a twin steer Mack on the other side of that one. I have heard the pros and con's but seems to me the lower center of gravity on the mid engine would make it handle better.
  20. Just remember admitting you have a problem is the first step in a cure, I don't wanna be cured I like being crazy!
  21. Pawel some people mount the pigtail holders to pogo sticks, if so its about halfway up.
  22. I'd love to build a shop here, I have the room but not the money and im not getting a loan. I think I've decided on a 40x50, have two 10x14 doors and a 30x40 truck shop area and a 20x40 machine/wood shop area. Of course it doesn't do any good for me to keep drawing plans with money to build. Leslie you gotta find a van trailer with a lift gate then you can move your stuff in the rain no problem, move it in style behind that SuperDog.
  23. Mack chassis to Volvo chassis in 06-07, you can probably buy a new chrome bumper from a chrome shop cheaper than the end from Mack.
  24. Bill @ Winrock says if you have a complete ETECH and ecm it will swap right in and control the guages etc. But I got no idea I just asked the question a while back as to swapping a pre CCRS ETECH into a 2005 Granite.
  25. Sand mixed with salt, sounds good for steel, ya know lie trucks.
