Oh and Freightliner says its Cummins problem and they say its Freightliners problem so its still doing the same thing in 2013, that's two years folks.

Well the ad is wrong its not a CHN, the CHN is a set forward axle, I am pretty sure if it were easily exportable it would have been by now. It looks like a standard CH daycab that someone stretched and added a tag axle to, I don't think its a heavy spec truck with a 9spd and 40k rears on air ride with a single frame I wouldn't call single frame 400hp and a 9 spd on 40k rears heavy, more like light actually. I would guess its had some heavy stuff on it with the look of it and its probably hurt if you looked hard enough, I would guess the frame was cut and scabbed back together behind the cab and while stretching a double frame truck can be done in my eyes, stretching a single frame truck then doing heavy work is asking for trouble.

They wanted it to sound like it was running down the road and that was the only truck sound files they had, I had to do 10mph or less for the aerial footage so there wasn't any real sound from mine.

I have fixed two backhoes twice this week, then I got to try to get a burro crane running, needs a battery again, then I got to do my monthly paperwork from last month and my credit card paperwork. Now that all that's done I think I might throw some hot rod injectors in the ol E9 this weekend, fresh from the diesel shop all nice and clean and with new seals and a good pop test(popping bout 300-400psi higher than spec) they flow about 30% more than the stock E9 450 injectors and the higher injection pressure should help it purty good too.

Get with Winrock or global truck parts they should both have take offs.

Sounds like low compression, slobbery injector nozzles, low injection pressure or low amperage/ slow crank. If it had low injection pressures or slobbery injectors it would have a lot of them smoke cold, if it was low compression it could have some fuel smoke also, low amperage to the starter or ecm would show up as a no start as described above. Remember after that first start your building your batteries up for more amps the rest of the day and as above the starter draws fewer amps on a hot start than it does cold.

More research shows that the M249 front and M250 rear tractors for the M65 cannon system were actually KW's, the Macks were used to start the project and KW built 33 pairs of the tractors for the cannons when they were put into service. Seems odd KW built 33 pairs and they supposedly only built 20 cannons and the tractors are harder to find than the cannons but crazier things have happened.
