  1. I wish I could find a pic of the T300 KW we had at Bobo Excavating it had a 14' IMT body and 10k crane. It had an ISC 260hp and a 9 speed too, it were purty nice.
  2. Yeah me too, id buy a few, but a company could never get a driver to stay in one.
  3. Don't get too excited there Cat guy there be E9's in them there woods, me or Ray (MHE9) may come by you on the way up and hook on to drag you and the Detroit up at a reasonable speed, nothing like watching a cat struggle up a hill with a Detroit in tow! LOL, now that good stuff there.
  4. Aight got a pic, here's my 2011 Freightliner M2 106, its a P.O.S. got a 6k crane, 6.7-240hp Cummins and a 6spd Eaton, crap body, the only real nice thing on it is the Lincoln 305D welder its nice.
  5. Mike I think that's the one I tried to buy several years ago, if so its an 84 with a Cummins in it.
  6. that's gonna be a slick ride when you get that sleeper on it. Its slick now but a little sleeper makes it look hardcore big truck.
  7. Same argument over and over is getting boring, either deal with the fact Mack is owned by Volvo and is not what it used to be but is still alive and actually selling well lately even if its just a Mack Cab on a Volvo chassis or shut up! I hate to see Mack trucks using Volvo chassis and components but I'm happier seeing Mack cabs on Volvo chassis on the road than no Mack cabs at all. I am also glad they are still assembled here in the USA even though the parts are different the same family traditions carry on in those plants and I doubt those folks want to go on unemployment right now. It really boils down to a simple choice be happy there is a Mack "branded" truck or hope they shut down, I'll stick with #1.
  8. You can tighten your front wheels with a 1/2" impact too, its only 350-450 ft lbs and most 1/2" guns will do that. I can stand someone using a 1" on my truck they are overkill now. If you look back in the early 80's a 1" wasn't rated for what it is now but people still use them just because they always have. I use a good high torque 1/2" impact on all my lugs and I've never lost one yet.
  9. If you make a deal for em I might be able to bring them to Watts show next month, I'm still planning to come but crazy things happen.
  10. I just traded the hubs and axles you need to swap to stud piloted disc to Winrock Truck Parts, call John, Bill or Casey and talk to them tell em who told you to call. 800-676-0052
  11. That is a sweet ride, I like the look of those long hood R's
  12. That's a good find, I'm in murfreesboro now and it just flew over, I'm gonna go check it out after I eat. I have a bunch of certificates about a third are actually hanging up and that's just cause they were already framed when I moved. I still have a bunch of my dads plaques and awards I had up in my office at my old house, some times that stuff is hard to get rid of.
  13. Damn phone I rotated that pic before I uploaded it, screw it if anybody wants they can flip it I can't remember how.
  14. I didn't get wreck master but I got this, basically speed was the key over there.
  15. Their qualifications are they wanted a job and someone gave em the keys to a wrecker, at least that's how it works here.
  16. Ha on a side note I just put a set of Yokohamas on the front of the Superliner, used 12oz packs of counteract tire balanced in em and they are super smooth. I'm still gonna have em trued, I need to replace my right from king pin so I'm going to take it to TAFA in Nashville and let em do the king pin, true the steers and do an alignment. I want it to ride right if I'm coming to Watts next month.
  17. Hmm, don't know about AU but here in the US a 460 runs around 32-36 lbs manifold pressure at Max load. An S400 is good for a 460 but might have the wrong wheel, housing etc. I'll look up the p/n for the 460 and 460xt when I get back to my computer
  18. "Backfires out the exhaust while warming up using the engine brake", well it actually makes me think the valves need to be adjusted or it may be slightly out of time somehow. An engine brake works by opening the exhaust valves at the top of the compression stroke before combustion and the power stroke basically turning the engine into an air compressor. By the sound of a "backfire" it would seem to me that the combustion was taking place before the valve opened making it louder thru the exhaust. As for the hop it just seemed like Camelback hop to me does it do it on flat ground or just on steep grades?
  19. Only place I have seen those long boom, long stick short bucket excavators is cleaning out the silt ponds at quarries. I think every quarry and sand plant around here uses em for that and they are messy slinging that slop around.
  20. Figured it had been a while, I love looking thru old truck pics, I think I spent an hour or two on Hanks truck pics first time I saw it.
  21. Yup, white truck with about a foot of dust in the cab.
  22. Just out of curiosity which way are you headed when you get it fixed?
  23. Yeah, your so close to Winrock truck parts I would call Bill,John or Casey Monday they probably have one just the other side of Knoxville. Like Staxx said 800-676-0052
  24. That was a high dollar ride back in its day, id love to have one.
  25. Hmmm, well Vinny that would be a neat one to add to your collection for sure, probably wouldnt get much done on the one you have now if the money got spent buying another truck though. Still a neat U model for sure.
