Ya all can call me crazy, but I really think the election of this President was an under handed swindle!! Just think about it, the IRS took down the very people that turned the mid term election around in 2010 (tee party) then the outskirts of Phily Pa gets 110 percent turn out for Obama ?? Tell me.... How the hell do you get 110 out of 100???? Only one way that could happen and that's under handed Chicago BS. Then there where many many Dem. districts around the country that had no margin of error in there votes?? Again how does this happen?? All voted for Obama? It can't happen it's impossible.. An then we come down to the Supreme Courts decision just look at this??? There is something very wrong here!! We the people have been Duped. And then you have this insane maniac Harry Reid who goes into the election of four point underdog and comes out six points ahead how did that happen? And what the hell is Nancy Pelosi still hanging around for? I mean why isn't she gone what the hell is she still doing Washington? Do the people who vote for these lunatics do they listen to them do they listen to what comes out of their mouths I just don't understand this?? OK well..maybe it's me!!?? BULLHUSK

Just thank the 13 million people who didn't vote!! We had our chance and we blew it!! Now we got 3 more years of this shit!! The thing that bothers me is this Supreme Court judge that changed Obama care to pass it through?? Something just smells rotten here? Something called a penalety is changed to a tax by a judge? How does one do something like that and get away with it? Tell me does something not sound wrong here or is it just sour grapes on my part Bullhusk

California Truckers Say They're Choking on State's Emission Rules
bullhusk replied to kscarbel's topic in Trucking News
Wouldn't it be nice if all the trucking co's would stick together and just not go to this crazy state? What would they do then? I bet you didn't know that Ca has it all figured out! They are gonna line up all the guy's from south a da border and put them on all the major border crossings, unload the trucks and form a human chain to the coast! They are then gonna fit them with special ass mufflers that the have to strap on so when they fart they will be Ca cert. they will also add DEF the the rice an beans an they will have to regen after 1200 farts! Also and burns caused by the regen process will be covered under OBAMA CARE page 9000543778943 par.14 as stated under the Nancy polosi act of 2013 (covers all of her an husband's workers) ! Also they tryed using only workers from 2007 and newer but that wasn't gonna work, even though it looked good on paper! BULLHUSK -
If you have 38's in back with a 10 or 12,000 lb front your still under the 54k. If you have maybe a 10 yd body and gross around 50k I guess it would be ok but I have seen some a these guys put 70,000 on these and you can smell the brakes and gear oil when they come in to dump there loads! BULLHUSK

best construction truck pros and cons
bullhusk replied to james j neiweem's topic in Modern Mack Truck General Discussion
I'm commin up to the big 60 next June Joe so I'm catchin up to ya! I was just talkin to Shelia Horwith last week and she told me they are getting some new tri axel dumps for there fleet so they will be selling there Coronados with the Allison Auto's and 470 Detroits! If anyone is lookin for a good used dealer serviced tri axel, these are nice trucks! There's nothin in this for me so don't think I'm tryin to sell some trucks on the side here! LOL I have bought some of there used stuff and so far have had good luck with em! BULLHUSK PS Joe I don't play with the computer stuff, I just send it to the dealer cause by the time ya buy the software, the stuff is outdated before ya take it outta the freakin box!! -
I wish my 361 had a 318 I have that super 250 and I just can't get used to shiftin that Spicer 5X4 air matic! I had a Diamond Reo with that trans but I had a V6-71 in front and that thing would would shift low direct and over! but with the 927 Cummins I just use direct an over (when loaded) when M/T I could just leave it in direct! I was never a Cummins guy but would take one over a Cat any day, but this thing just runs outta steam to fast but has a lot of low end torque. I would like to put a turbo on it and maybe turn it up to a 270 or 290 but it don't have the piston oil coolers in the block. Now here is a question for you Cummins guys, could I take my crank and pistons and liners and put them lets say in a 400 block? I know the the stroke is longer on the Super engine but the block is not taller as some people may think, ex. they are the same, also my con. rods have 4 bolts on the caps BULLHUSK

Put a Allison in it! I was up at Horwith Freightliner the other day lookin at there Coronado tri dumps.. 13 liter 470 hp Detroits with Allison automatics, drivers love em and they stay outta the shop! and I don't think you'll be replacing them every 2 to 300,000 mi! BULLHUSK

I was raised in a town in Jersey called Kearny, the home of about 5 landfills, on your hot summer nights you could smell all of that garbage rottin away an when the landfill caught fire... Well that was a real treat!! Cooked rottin garbage plus the ambers flyin around !! And when the chemical pitt's went up... We got in the car and went south!! BULLHUSK

Detroit 71 series is by far the best desiel ever made! Ya can't kill it all or most parts interchange all the new big tank and low boy trucks that the army has now has the new 18 liter Cat accert motors now and thay arn't workin to well! And again, years ago when we had them, when winter came around we where on the road towin the comalongs and the yellow birds and the bull dogs up an down the street running with a can of starting fluid! and when it came time to overhaul em we could buy a brand new motor from Adelmans back then for about 2 or 3 grand, that's about what it cost ya to paint a Cat motor. To each his own guys but I'll take a Detroit any time over the other ones esp. the new ones BULLHUSK

real good motor as long as you don't buy one in a big truck! the Gold Comet was a Zero engine the bore and stroke was the same! When I say big truck I mean they are a good motor for trucks like the one shown but Reo started to put the engine into bigger tandem's with 25 yd Leach garbage packers and also 12 yd dump bodys and that was the not what this engine was intended for! It is a short stroke motor and when you put a lotta weight behind it it over rides the gov. and over speed the engine and puts windows in the side of your motors! The USA bought a lot of these for the mult. so if you go on line I'm sure u will find some one with parts BULLHUSK

I used to love to start those old IH's My uncle had a buncha those TD 24's when I was a kid and we would start em on gas and trans over to diesel he also had a TD 14 with the lift pistons on the side! all the 24's had cable blades. I only wish I woulda taked some pictures back then! He also had a huge HD 20 AC track loader with a 6-110 Detroit and that thing started with no prob. even in the winter ya just gave it a shota eather and off she woud go! Boy did he have a buncha junk! that was in the late 60's and some of those machines had to be in the 1950's an maybe even in the 40's One thing was for sure.. my uncle and my cousins were experts in changin cyl. heads on TD 24's LOL!! But they didn't have a lota money back then but they kept it all together an got the job done! BULLHUSK

I was always an International guy but there was always something about the D9-G that just looked tougher then the rest! My cousin ran a new D9 for 4 years on the Kearny land fill back in the 70's it was the last of the low track machines, he was also an IH guy but he said no matter what you put in front of that machine it was pushin it, also the machine never went down! Only track replacement and blow the rad out every night the machine ran every day except Sun. BULLHUSK
