  1. The bad thing about taking the fender panels off the B models the side cab vents were right behind the fender, lots of hot air there!
  2. As far as putting a R Model cab on a DM frame, i bet it could be done, just move the cab back and fabricate front hood and radiator mounts. And on the earlier ones the hood was mounted to the radiator. Lots of work though, i almost tried this some years ago on a perfect DM frame, but ended up buying a fully groomed cab from Manders in Lakeville minn. terry
  3. That engine would originally had the big canister filter with the big two piece housing with the big o ring in the middle of the two pieces. Terry
  4. Yeah the three filters is for the ESI engines, I have to guess somebody put the ESI filter stand on the engine🤷‍♀️. Terry

  7. If you only have the one fuel filter, should be an arrow on top for fuel direction, intake is from the tank, discharge side goes to bottom of lift pump on side of engine. Terry

  11. Does it have the fire ring liners?
  12. Does your liners have the ridges for fire rings? and are the heads scored for the rings? terry
  13. I believe the biggest problem of putting turbos on the early engines was head gasket leaks, no fire rings. terry

  15. That taper leaf rear suspension is not very good, real soft, looks like a lot of rust jacking around the fifth wheel. Terry
  16. I once owned a B421 , had that flathead mack gas engine, thy were either a 401 or 402 engine. terry

  18. That’s an older one, rockwell front axle and real early air cleaner set up. Terry sure a nice one for that early!

  23. Just listened to that video, had 237 engines with that exact sound, was a loose exhaust seat, I know it sounds crazy but I had one do that and it ran a long time, just never know how long! Terry
  24. I"m going to have to check some of my old manuals on the X107 fill spots, maybe i am getting mixed up with the older single counter shaft transmissions! terry
