  3. pretty common on the 34,000 tandems. After awhile alot of guys just cut them off instead of replacing the shocks. terry
  4. Yeah I know a guy that had a driveline noise, pulled the tranny had it rebuilt, put it back together, and yes noise still there, noise was front rear end, talk about a unhappy camper! Terry

  11. Mack t1070 12 speed perfect for that engine, just have to shorten the driveshaft.

  13. if you hear a boost leak, you probably have found your problem! terry
  14. That style you take backing plate off, take cotter pin out of bottom, then there is a cross slot on botton, screw that out, the top is pressed in, pop that out and knock pin out to the bottom , once you break the taper loose it will fall out, alot of the replacements are nylon bushings.

  16. I second what MACKs says about the trunnion bushings, if it is bronze and really walking out, trunnion tube is probably gone too! terry
  17. probably a misprint on the 300 series? need to know the seriel # off the frame, that will tell you alot. looks like a older thermodyne engine that somebody put screw on oil filters, doesn't have a oil cooler. probably a triplex or quad transmission. terry
  18. Should give you alot of trouble free miles for a long time! Alot better than them emission plagued engines along side of the road! terry
  19. Depends if your pump is separate from control valve or built together, if hoist is staying up and not leaking at the packing on each stage your good to go!
  20. Every dump box i have ever seen is pressure up and gravity down, no two way cylinders on dump truck boxes i have seen, two way cylinder on side dumps and ram eject trailers, and maybe some other applications. terry
