  2. On a engine with the spin on filters the turbo feed comes off of top of the filter heads, and the older engines with the big full flow/bypass filter the turbo feed comes off that pad on the side of the block? terry

  6. So what is so different with the ESI block, i thought the only difference was oil pan depth, and amount of oil filters between a two filter engine and a three filter engine. terry

  11. Yeah geoff i ran a 16 inch single disc clutch and a quad behind a 237 and had no problems for many years, but i was the only driver, and yes there was a 16 inch clutch, came off early V8’s. terry
  12. The pull clutch would probably be easier to get parts for. terry
  13. Sounds like a pretty good trans for what your doing, I like the gear steps in high range. Why not go with a pull clutch, or is there a linkage problem with that? Got to thinking B model clutch release set up probably won't work with a pull type clutch. terry

  22. 3400 ! Wonder how he keeps it together! terry i once had a 285 turned up to 2300 and i thought that was pushing it!
  23. The slotted adapter with the pins is when you take the two top bolts and one bottom out that bolt to the block. You have a pic of the top two. terry
