    The B53's had eye and bolt on the end, later ones had the T leaf. I drove a dump for years with the old one, always kept a spare spring in my shop, got to where I could change it in a couple of hours. terry

    If your thermostat is working why bypass it? A diesel runs better the warmer you can run it. Also I ran a 711 with a turbo fot ten years, think I might have put head gaskets on it twice, and that was a truck that was working every day in that ten years. terry

    That is totally new to me!

    I think you could use the 673 flywheel on the 675 engine, I ran a quad behind a 675 engine with a single disc clutch for years, but I was the only driver. But when you talk a double disc clutch where a single was you really open up a can of worms! A double disc has a longer input shaft, a deeper bell housing, which also puts the trans mounts farther back. Not to mention you also need a clutch brake with a double disc set up. terry

    I put a U model cab on a DM, It was a unbolt and bolt in installation. It was a mid 80's cab on a 1970 frame. terry

    I have been around a ton of RD.s, never seen a RD emblem.

    Also changing trans. you might have to change rears to get a 60MPH top speed. terry
