  1. With that mileage on the trans and engine with good servicing should last a real long time. terry
  2. Check the gasket around the vent in the roof. They will leak with age. terry

  4. As Glen stated above don't beat in on the inside use the outside edge, you should also get a injector sleeve reamer to true everything up after it is in. terry

  7. A big block engine already mated to an automatic would be the best route to go. Terry
  8. 72 series is a direct tranny, a 720 is an overdrive. terry
  9. Look on the left side of tranny behind the fill plug should be a flat spot with some numbers, a TRT is triplex and a TRQ is a quad. Terry
  10. B75 is a non turbo mack engine a B753 is a turbo mack engine, a B73 is a non turbo cummins, a B733 is a turbo cummins, anda B773 is a turbo cummins. Gets pretty confusing! Terry
  11. Depends what you call against the govenor, i had a Dm with a mack 12 spd overdrive and with 4.17s 22.5 tires it would bury the 80 mph speedometer at 2300 rpm. terry
  12. Put a fitting on a five gallon can and set it above the pump and run a hose right to the injection pump, it will gravity feed it to where you want to go. terry
  13. Can't tell you for sure on the front mount, you should be able to compare them to see if they interchange, as for the flywheel housing, if the automatic one is different the one on the old engine MIGHT fit, if not it should not be to difficult to find one that will. Terry
  14. Might be pretty hard to find an exact replacement, you need to find a good 237 or also called a T675 engine, will fit right in there. Terry

  20. Don't forget about the rear end, with a change to a diesel you might have to go with a lower no. rear to get any road speed. terry

  22. Is there a reason you can't use the flywheel housing that is on the 675 engine? terry
  23. You fill the rearmost box and fluid will travel to all three boxes, but you have to fill and let sit for a few minutes to let the oil flow through the boxes. Terry
  24. That tranny is actually three trannys bolted together and the fluid will run from the back all the way to the front one, has holes from case to case. terry
