    Actually after putting my time in both seats, and a few years on a creeper underneath or climbing around one day after day I`m happy just to have that dog looking at me every day from my desk. I`m content to go to shows and photograph other peoples trucks and admire and appreciate their hard work..

    They had to be, when I was in during the 80`s the amount of new recruits that could drive a standard was on the decline..We had deuce and a halfs and 800 series 5 tons with sticks, they were replace by HEMTT`s with Detroits and autos and 900 series 5 tons with autos, I think a few had Cummins in them too..

    If you go to his Flickr page most of the truck pics are from Mass so I`d say thats a good possibilty...

    Talked to my Father in Law who put many years in Mack assembly in Allentown. World Headquarters moved there in 1970, Macungie opened in 1976...Plainfield was the power train plant..Allentown was where the bulk of the trucks where made..Somerville was the parts DC..But it`s still a cool find and thanks for posting..

    I kinda miss when the auto makers made Class 8 trucks used to go to our local Ford dealer and get brochures of L9000`s and such
