  1. I remember them too,i also thought they were Diamond T's,UPS terminal near me in Jersey had one up into the late nineties at least, used to see it on the Turnpike doing a round trip from Newark airport every once in awhile. I saw one of those "package cars" on a rollback one time,i could see the horn button said Diamond Reo,i always wondered who built those?...........................Mark

  5. I gots mine on right now!....................................Mark
  6. In my opinion you can't hardly go wrong for a grand, parts alone are worth that, but the big question is (aside from the engine) is what you are willing to spend on it?,i mean a truck/tractor is a lot different from say a Camaro/Mustang sitting in your garage. Takes up a lot of room, especially when dis-assembly starts, parts are not as readily available as are reproduction car parts, how much of the work can you do yourself? what do you want to do with it? i'm in no way trying to discourage you from the truck, but you should know what your getting into when tearing into a B-model for the first time..................again,just my two cents......................Mark
  7. I agree,looks like a trucks supposed to!............................................Mark

  9. I talked to one of O'Hares drivers a year or so ago,he said the reason they did'nt do the show anymore was an argument over "creative differences" meaning they (O'Hare) did'nt want to add any staged "drama" i kinda liked that show as well.............Mark

  16. Dont at all mean to sound like a dick, but maybe trucking is not for you? i see plenty of folks on a daily basis that have absoulutely no business in a truck! you should know your height BEFORE you drive, know the workings of your equipment BEFORE you drive,it is YOUR responsibilty as a driver to operate safely and professionally..................................Mark
  17. I agree,i for one don't really watch much tv,but these "reality" shows are really getting out of hand! whats next? 'tollbooth attendants"? "crossing guards"? "babysitter wars"? holy shit! enoughs enough! already. I watched this progarm one time, and i actually talked to the guy who drives the KW in a truckstop a few months ago, what a douche this guy is! thinks he's some kind of moviestar i guess!..............if these hollywood morons want reality, maybe they should go to Kentucky, find a guy that works in a coalmine at night, drives a truck during the day does odd jobs,to make ends meet and feed his family! but i guess theres no "entertainment" or" drama" envolved with real people!..................................Mark
  18. I agree, wreckers don't have much of a "shelf life" especially when abused,my cousin ran one of the biggest wrecker outfits in NJ at one time, and he replaced trucks at 4-5 years!...................................Mark
