H.G,.had to go look on my bookshelf, its called "Target Patton,the plan to assasssinate George S. Patton" written by Robert K.Wilcox........pretty good book,but its has some strange ideas about what REALLY happened to G.S.P conspiracy kooks etc,but a good read nonetheless...............Mark

I read a book along those lines not too long ago,that was one of the theories that was examined,the only thing that seems to contradict that theory is,from all i've read about the man,myth,legend, G.S.P had absoulutely no political ambition...............Mark

Thanks guys for all the comments! i surely appreacieate them,this is something i am pretty proud of,and (all kidding aside) i could'nt think of a better group of people to share the news with. I do take exceptionally good care of my equipment,the credit for that goes both to my dad and grandfather,both of which were fond of saying "this truck is how i eat" which is very true,along with the old saying "ya gotta spend money to make money". the trucks been paid for since 06' and i can really say in all honesty,that it does'nt owe me a dime,it's managed to keep a roof over my families head,food on the table,and me in a job for 12 years running. I'm gonna run it as long as possible,maybe even look into something (jobwise) that will let me get home a little more often,spend some more time with my family,if i dont,i'll never get my "hobby" truck project going,getting to be too damn many idiots on the road these days,and i'm starting to not see as well at nightime anymore as i used to (old age creeping up?) but,i guess for now we'll just keep on truckin"! Happy to report the ol' girl (my CX) turned 1 million miles on the clock today,its been a damn good truck,the blocks never been apart,and what problems i have had have been minimum,(coolant tanks,phantom electrical shorts not withstanding)..............also puts about 4 million miles on MY clock! what a long strange trip its been!....................................Mark

Nice truck,and a good save,looks to me like someone added later model fuel and air tanks,Cruiseliner maybe? never seen fuel tanks mounted like that before,definately not factory,but not a bad looking job from what i can see,welcome aboard and good luck with it!......................Mark
